A terrible company to work for!

Poor pay, terrible expenses system, awful attitude toward employees and customers, the worst pay scale system I've ever come across in over 30 years! This review is a case of "where the hell do I start"? There are simply so many negatives in working for this shambles of a company, you simply wouldn't believe it! I want to stress at the outset though, contrary to how it may seem, I'm not writing this negative review purely out of spite, I am just so thoroughly fed up with standing by and seeing these kind of employers taking advantage of their employees to this extent! Ok, the wages first, you do not get paid a straight forward hourly rate, O no, see if you can fathom this one out. You get a basic/minimal weekly rate, this is then topped up by the following method: how many are in your team on the day in question and how much in total your team take take for cleans completed within that day. The driver, or "head maid", earns the highest percentage, the other "maids" get a lower percentage, (these percentages are also paid at a lower rate if the maid hasn't been with the company for very long). So yes, add up the revenue from all cleans completed within a day, deduct the Molly Maids "cut", minus the V.A.T, from what is left, do your maths by then working out the overall percentages that are made up from the number and make up of your team and deduct that from the total for the day, and so on! They supply a "Molly Maid Car", fully branded by the company, for the "Head Maid" to use for work, however, you will pay Income Tax for the "privelidge" of having this car, as it is termed as a "perk of the job". You then have to maintain the car, clean the car etc, you must also pay for the fuel, Molly Maid DO NOT pay you any allowance for driving to your first clean, or to get home at the end of the day, so should your first clean be some 15 miles from home and likewise from your last clean, it is YOU that is actually paying for the privelidge of working for them! If you are a maid and rely on the head maid to pick you up in the morning, each maid has to pay £1.50 daily to the head maid. So for the amount of work you are expected to do to a high standard, for the little amount of pay that you receive and not to mention all of the additional hassle you have to put up with working for a poorly run and poorly organised company, trust me, look elsewhere for a job, and avoid this company like the plague! A brief word about the customers, in the most part every customer that I have met have all been very nice, the odd few of these that have got wind at what it's like to work for Molly Maid have all been horrified, and some have even cancelled based on what they have learned. If only they were to also know as to the level of contempt that the Manager of the company holds for his customers, perhaps more would cancel. Customers have had their prices for their cleans increased massively, mostly without consultation, and when they have questioned it, they receive blunt and very negative responses. Should they threaten to cancel, he just reacts very rudely and puts the phone down! Once again, do not consider working for this company, you WILL regret it.
