Shipping & Airfrieght with Momentous Relocation

Leaving your old home: We will recommend the most cost and time-effective way to move your valued belongings. For small shipments, it's likely they'll be sent either by air or sea freight, while larger loads will go in a sole-use container.

Where access allows, we will load shipping containers at your home, but if this isn't possible we'll do it at one of our warehouses.

Arriving at your new home: When your shipment arrives in your new country, your move co-orindator will ensure it is cleared through customs by the local authorities. The rules and regulations vary from country-to-country, and we'll go over this in the pre-move survey.

Once through customs, we will arrange a suitable date for unpacking with one of our trusted overseas partners.

Pre-move

After an extensive survey, a dedicated move co-ordinator will provide you with a service proposal and then get to work on finalising a detailed moving plan.

Packing your home

Our fully-trained crews will use their expertise to ensure your possessions, however delicate, are packed safely and securely, and will use the survey to establish your packing and loading requirements. However, if you'd prefer to do some, or all, of your own packing, we will drop off the appropriate packaging.

Moving Day

Once everything is packed, our crew will load up and, depending on the distance to your new home, will have everything completed and unpacked on the day. A schedule for longer-distance and European moves will be agreed in advance.

On arrival at your new home, the crew will unpack and place furniture at your direction, or, if you prefer, leave you to it. All used packaging will be disposed of on the day or, if you'd like, we'll come back for a small collection charge at a later date.

Apartment Storage

Storage space in a family home is invariably limited, and so we'd like to help out by storing your excess belongings at a special neighbourly rate.

We are based on the lower ground floor in Chiltern Court on Baker Street, and have regular collections/deliveries between here and our secure warehousing facility in Park Royal.

We can pre-deliver plastic crates and packing materials to your home ready for our staff to collect, or for a fee we can offer a full packing service.
