Cub Scout Camp - Transport Provider
I made a booking with MCH now, MHL and they were brilliant from the beginning, the contact, organisation and communication between myself and the operations team and staff was brilliant. My event ran well, without issue and I am pleased to say that once again I am happy with the service provided. I have used them on more than one occasion for long journeys and I will most defiantly recommend them and will use them again in the future. I give them 4 Stars :-)

Most frightening journey ever
Just returned from a trip booked through momentum travel. Coach was old, toilet stank as much as the drivers attitude who was abrupt and miserable most of the time. Although he did some extra 10min journey's from venue to accomodation it was done with a great deal unnecessary verbal debate and bad attitude. This was nothing however compared to his driving. He was unable to stay in lane most of the time and drifted constantly across the lanes bumping over the cats eyes. So fearful were we that those at the front couldn't sleep and we made sure someone was watching over him the whole time. We even rang the emergency number from the service station but was told there was nothing they could do to help. The response from Momentum has been very dismissive of our concerns and an offer of 10% off a future booking pathetic. This was a coach full of children and there is no way any parents would allow this firm to be booked again. Avoid at all costs.

Terrible service
I booked a coach with this company, they take my money and they I get told they dont have a driver for that day. I had to arrange alternative transport. I am still waiting for my refund, its been 2 weeks.

Fantastic Service
Everything worked fantastically, no problems what so ever. I often rate companies on how they resolve problems, however there wasn't any to resolve. Just smooth, great service. Only thing you should be aware of, that your driver didn't know about was the park are now charging for coach parking.

The coach had more than enough space for us which made a nice change to the normal cramp coaches we get. both drivers there and back did everything we requested (fag breaks and dropping us off round the corner)and were very helpful. only downside was the coach was 15 minutes late to pick us up but that didnt spoil the night at all. thanks

Very accommodating service
Each of the drivers/vehicles were punctual, polite and very helpful. Additionally, I believe that, although the second mini bus was originally scheduled to pick up at 4.30, the group requested an earlier pick due to the meeting finishing early and this request was accommodated very rapidly.

Service was good
Service was very good; coach was as booked and we would definately book with Momentum again. There was one slight issue: the coach was a double decker and the heating on the top deck was felt to be too hot. This was, however, an electrical or mechanical fault that could not have been foreseen, and so does not reflect on Momentum or its operatives.I would definately recommend Momentum to others requiring a Coach Service.

Perfect service from Momentum
The driver arrived punctually and was very patient attending us, even with some delay on our part at the end of the evening for the return. He was careful at the wheel and got us to our destination in good time and home again promptly too. The price was good value for money. I shall come back to you in future if group transport is required.

Fraudsters
I booked and paid for an executive 16 seater mini bus for my sons wedding on 4th september at 4.30 on the friday i had a call from momentum telling me the caoch had broken had down and was off the road, Apparently they had tried to get me another coach, but nothing was available and that they would refund me my money straight away 10 days later i am still waiting for my refund, I am a disabled lady on benefits and i am £375 pound out of pocket. I have had no reply to my numerous emails of telephone calls and have been informed the refund department does not have a direct line. I would advise anyone not to use this company and if anyone knows who the managing director is could you please edmail me at jlhowe2@hotmail.com.

I just wanted to say thank you very much for saving the weekend arranged for over 50 young people [the overflow will now go by car]. They have travelled from all over the world including Ghana, Australia, USA as well as Inner London! It would have been a tragedy to dissapoint so many young people. I think it is amazing that you could pull all this together in such a short time. We as a company will certainly call on your services again should we need it and recommend you to anyone we can. NEVER EVER USE !!!!!!!!!
The first thing was when I checked the price on the internet (£545) called to book and was told the price had increased in those two minutes to £650 because they were busy! The Bus was 20 mins late due to an apparent puncture, on sight it was a disgrace, and 22 years old, nothing like any of the pictures on their website, so don't be fooled! On arrival the driver told me the power steering had an oil leak and he had to call the depot, the result being the mechanic would take at least 20 minutes to get to us, I called Momentum who were very unhelpful in that they could not provide a replacement, I called local firms and could hve got a bus in an hour, so how they couldn't I'll never know! Anyway the mechanic arrived 30 mins later and repaired the bus in 30 mins, so we were 1 hour 45 mins late leaving.... Not good when you're off to a race day! On arrival at Newmarket the driver failed to see the most obvious road signs TWICE! On Monday I emailed Momentum as adivisd by their so called customer services on Saturday, They are nothing but cowboys from the customer service team to the so called managing director, I was absolutely amazed that someone in his position would be so rude an unhelpful. It is obvious as a customer I would be angry and disappointed with the service, but it seems you are not allowed to vent your feelings on them, The managing director actually called me rude for daring to complain about what they thought was an acceptable service, Unfortunately by my standards and the standards of compnaies previously used they are very sub-standard! PLEASE BEWARE NEVER USE THIS COMPANY YOU WILL BE SORRY!

I paid for this coach 4 weeks before going they assured me they had a coach going. But with less than 48 hours to go they called to inform me there was a mechanical error with the coach. But when calling other coach company's to find out if they had any coaches free they informed me that this happens a lot with this company people need to be aware and advised.

Do NOT use this company
A warning to anybody thinking of hiring a coach from this company - don't even bother trying. Our experience with Momentum Coach Hire is a salutary lesson on what happens if you deal with a company who has no regard for its customers and to rub salt in the wound then hides behind onerous terms and conditions. Its quite a simple story. But the result of us dealing with this band of bandits has left us some £400 out of pocket- and we are working for nothing on one of our buiest days of the year. We were asked to organise a coach trip to the Derby for a group of people from North Kent. We secure quotes from a number of coach companies and Momentum came up with the best deal at a cost of £585. As a result we priced our trip up, advised our clients of the cost and after securing their approval paid first of all a deposit to Momentum - and then settled in full some time before the departure date. Three days before the departure we received a phone call from Momentum saying their coach was off the road and they couldn't fulfill the contract. Three days before the date of the trip - and on one of the busiest days of the year. When we pointed out that we had paid for a coach and as far as we were concerned we expected a coach they told us they could provide one - but that it would cost £350 more. I don't need to go into the rest of the conversations - no matter our insistence, they weren't going to provide a coach unless we paid another £350 - and if we didn't it was, well, just tough. Their terms and conditions of hire explain that the maximum they will be held for in the event of non delivery or under delivery of the contact is the cost of the hire - in other words they can simply just say 'here's your money back' - and tough for the rest of the costs. We have subsequently found another coach - at an additional cost of £350. We therefore will spend the day working - we'll pay our staff - and we'll end up out of pocket for the privilege. We are so incensed about our treatment by this company - and there's apparently nothing we can do about it. Nothing that is but warn other people not to use them.

Great Coaches, Great Service- Recommend Highly
I am secretary for the Saracens Rugby Club supporters club in Leeds. We travel to most matches, and have recently switched to use Momentum as our coach company of choice after being let down elsewhere. The coaches are modern, slick and comfortable- which certainly makes a big difference on long away journeys. The staff are always friendly, and we have got a real relationship going. Momentum continues to give us excellent service at competitive prices, which is why we use them. The service is simple, honest and exactly what you need if you're organising an event. Thank you Momentum for all your help in 2009, and all of our members look forward to travelling with you in 2010.

Lovely staff and excellent day out
I used Momentum to transport over 60 pupils to the Imperial War Museum in Central London. Right from the start, the employee I spoke to was knowledgable, courteous and friendly. When the coach arrived, it was clean, tidy, modern and well driven. Our driver, John, was friendly and clearly knew the roads very well. We arrived on time and a good day was had by all. I will use them for our next trip in February.

Poor products
I recently hired a 50 seat and a 34 seat from Momentum Coach Hire. I requested executive level coaches that were no more than 4yrs old. I asked for images of the coaches that I would hire. I was told that the coaches were like the ones on their web page. I spent one week looking for coaches to hire. Due to the initial good communication I had with their employee I decided to use this company. I was told that cost of was £670. I was asked for an additional £40 because of miscalculation the day before the event. No explanation of how I was been charged was explained. I agreed to pay the additional monies due to lack of time. I found that the method of payment to the company was outdated by today's standards. Payment by debit or credit card incurred an additional fee of 2.9%. The only ways to avoid this was payment by bank transfer, direct cash payment to their bank or cheque. The simplest on my part was bank transfer. There were numerous phone calls made between myself and the company before they would accept that the money was paid. On the day of the event I arrived to find coaches that were about 10 to 15 yrs old. Although the coaches were clean, one coach had a column of rust by the coach door. The drivers were friendly but did not seem to know the roads in the area to avoid traffic. I was wrongly sold this service. I chose this company because I expressed a desire for good quality products which I did not receive. Their nearest comparison was about £100 cheaper. I am dissatisfied with this company. This company's products are not worth the money.
