Monkstadt Holiday Cottages is set within the courtyard of the steadings of the former Monkstandt house, which became the seat of the Clan Macdonald in 1730 when they abandoned Duntulm Castle. Mill Cottage offers home from home comfort, an ideal holiday base to explore the island. The dramatic landscape of the Quiraing, excellent hill walking and the Faerie Glen is an excellent place to take children. The Old Man of Storr, Museum of Island life and Flora Macdonald’s monument are just a few of the places of interest close by. You will be amazed by the dramatic sunset from The Mill Cottage, so come and enjoy. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles. We have 3 and 1 bedrooms cottages to rent.
