I will not go into details because to be honest I would be here all day but I have to say NEVER buy a car from Motor Nation. Both comments above I have experienced and the rest!! Disgusting customer service, disgusting aftersales, mechanics are either clueless or rip off merchants. I had one faulty death trap and THEN a replacement faulty death trap. Now trading standards and financial ombudsman and its very stressfull and upsetting... guess what ... Motor nation dont care. Be careful people !!

Bough my car nearly two years a go and I am still having problems with it, we have paid for all the extras to cover breakdown. etc but it is useless and it seems like we have paid and extra 1000 for nothing. I am very disappointed and I would never buy a car from them ever again. due to the problems I am having with my car I was forced to buy another one. I decided to try carcraft and they seem a lot more professional, their customer service is outstanding, not pushy at and it feels like you can buy with confidence. there was a minor issue qith the car that was sorted right away and they called me back a few days later to make sure everything is fine with the car

A bit too pushy

I had used their services in Aug last year when I was looking to buy a used car. They had a nice collection, but only starting from 4K upwards. I was more sort of looking for something in the range of 3K to 3.5K. The staff was friendly and approachable. But I found them a bit too pushy. The sales person had taken down my details, shown me a couple of cars. I had finalized on Vauxhall Vectra or Ford Mondeo. The sales person had pushed me to reserve a 2002 Vectra for a 100£, although I was not very keen on a 2002 vehicle for 4.2K. She had convinced me by telling me I can always get the money back easily if I didn't like the car. They got the car for me from their other branch, I went there for a test drive, and I didn't like the car. I expressed my issues to the person who was there with me during the test drive. Frankly speaking, that young chap didn't know much about the cars. He couldn't answer my questions properly. So, I gave a call to Bristol Street and requested them to refund my money back. That's where they started pushing things more firmly. Firstly they told me that I MUST take another test drive of that vehicle with the original sales person that was assigned to me. I couldn't see what difference that could make, so I avoided that. Then they told me to select any other vehicle. I did in fact liked a couple of Vectra on their site, so requested them to get those vehicles for me. Since they were in different branch, they complicated the things. That is another thing I didn't really like about Bristol Street. Although they say their branches work together, they really don't. The central sales line told me to get in touch with the other dealership directly, who insisted I must purchase the vehicle directly from them. I didn't want to do that because then I will have to get in touch with a dealership located 100 miles from me in case of any issue. Meanwhile I found a very good ford Mondeo for 3.2K, and ended up buying it from autoquake. So, I just told Bristol Street that I've bought another vehicle, and they should return my money. They promptly returned a 100£ cheque in a week. I just had to call them a few times, but I think that's a given. Overall, I can recommend this dealership for used car if you don't want to roam around to look for a good deal, and are looking to buy a used car from a genuine large dealership. But beware of the sales push. You'll have to be firm about what you want, and at what price do you want that.
