Great instructor - passed first time!
I moved to Mel having spent a few months with an instructor who it turned out was clearly not worth the money! Mel happily took me on and turned out to be a great instructor and I passed my test first time. She was very calm and clear and made me feel really relaxed. The difference between her and my previous instructor was amazing. She explained everything really well and made sure we practised everything that's covered in the test. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone and she'll soon be teaching my younger brother. Thanks Mel :)

Magnificent Mel!!!
I cannot speak any highly of Mel as a driving instructor and as a person. I had previously failed my test on my first time and so went to Mel from my previous instructor based on some reviews from my mates. She helped me pass with only 1 minor! She has vast amounts of experience of the area as well as the local examiners and other driving instructors. She even organised a mock test with another instructor to help replicate the experience of the actual test to help me get used to the procedure on the day. She really boosted my confidence greatly with my driving and not only teaches you how to pass your test but to also be a SAFE and fully competent driver for the process afterwards which I felt was just as important. She was able to pick up specific areas we had to work on and helped me through becoming confident with those aspects. Passing your driving test is one of the moments in life you’ll never forget and I couldn’t have shared that experience with a better and nicer person than Mel. My own personal journey to getting that pink license was an eventful one before I met Mel, but I can honestly say I couldn’t off done it without Mel’s excellent teaching techniques and advice. She is really flexible with lesson times and goes out of her way to cater to your individual needs. I can't honestly thank her enough or say enough great things about her. Thanks Mel! :D

A wonderful instructor
Mel is a really great instructor. I wasn't satisfied with my first instructor so changed to Mel. English isn't my first language but Mel was very friendly, explained everything very clearly and helped me build my confidence on the road. I was nervous on test day, but Mel helped me to relax and I passed first time.

Mel- An amazing driving Instructor
Mel is an amazing driving teacher who I can't thank enough for helping me pass my driving test first time! She is an incredible woman who has all the patience in the world and helps you overcome any weaknesses. I have enjoyed every moment of her lessons. At the start I was a very nervous driver but with her assistance she helped me become a safe and confident driver. Mel is always flexible with her lessons and was always able to pick me up for Sixth Form (in Esher) each time without any problems. I would recommend her to anyone as I can guarantee that, she will help you pass your driving test first time. Thank you very much Mel!

Great driving instructor
Mel is a wonderful instructor who has helped me a lot, not only with my driving but she also helped me with my confidence on the road. I started off as a very nervous driver but with Mel's excellent teaching she soon turned my weaknesses into strengths. You don't need to worry about making mistakes with Mel because firstly she has all the patience in the world and secondly she corrects your mistakes by explaining what you need to to very clearly and she uses diagrams too which makes it a lot easier! I cannot thank Mel enough and she has not only been an instructor to me but also a friend. Thank you!!

Excellent Driving Instructor- I Passed First Time!
I can not speak highly enough about Mel. I passed my driving test with just two minors and it was all down to Mel (she also helped me pass my theory test on my first try with her books and questions during the lessons). She teaches you how to be a competent and SAFE driver, not just how to pass a test as I believe some instructors do. She teaches with limitless patience, experience and knowledge along with being a caring and wonderful individual. She has made driving routines easy to remember and seems to always pick up on your driving anxieties and helps you work through them. I would recommend her to anyone, any age, any experience. A******* instructor.

Wonderful driving instructor.
I have just passed my driving test first time, after starting lessons with Mel in September. Being in my 40s, with no previous driving experience and no car to practice on, I benefited from her patience and ability to explain technique clearly! She is now teaching my daughter too. Excellent Driving Teacher
Mel is an excellent Driving Teacher who gets the best out of her pupils and has an excellent record of first time passes. AMAZING DRIVING INSTRUCTOR
I had only just been driving for 4 months and without Mel's support and guidance I would not have passed 1st time (today)! From my first lesson Mel has always been so friendly, encouraging, patient and understanding which has made me a confident driver. Mel quickly identified any weaknesses I had and soon perfected them. She knows exactly what she is doing and is extremely flexible with lesson times (especially as I was going to college everyday). I would definitely recommend Mel’s School of Motoring to anyone who wants to learn quickly and safely as she is the best out there! THANK YOU MEL! x

Fantastic teacher and person
Mel is a fantastic instructor and I would highly recommend her. I passed 1st time and definitely could not have done it without her. From the 1st lesson Mel put me at ease and almost straight away challenged me to the busier roads in order to become a competent & SAFE driver. More importantly Mel works with your personality & tailors her instruction around you as an individual. Fantastic teacher and person
Mel is a fantastic teacher and tks to her I passed 1st time! She put me at ease straight away at our 1st driving lesson and almost immediately challenged me to tackle the more busier roads in order to become a competent and safe driver. Mel's a lifesaver
Being a person of a nervous disposition, I was very apprehensive and nervous about having driving lessons after having a couple of bad experiences with other instructors, as soon as I got to know Mel I knew she would be the one to help me pass, she is caring, understanding, patient and friendly she always put me at ease and helped me to pass first time. Not only did she help me pass but she has turned me into a more confident and a safe driver ready to go out on my own. I can't honestly thank her enough or say enough great things about her.

MSM!
Mel is an awesome instructor, I passed within 4 months first time and it was definitely all down to her careful guidance and help. Lessons were flexible around college times and I made great progress very quickly with Mel. Overall had a good time and will be going back for pass plus - I would without doubt recommended mel to anyone who is a first time driver or needing refresher lessons! Thanks!

1st time pass
Like some other people before me, me was not my first instructor. I started with britannia and felt they were just taking money from me. I met mel at work and she gave me her card , didn't hesitate to call her. After 3 months of driving with mel I was able to pass first time. I was taken to different places to practice which showed me how to work my way through the busiest of roads. Mel is a wonderful instructor and very friendly. I now feel so confident at driving and couldn't have done it without her. Thanks mel :D

Mel's excellent
Unfortunately, Mel was NOT my first driving instructor. I found my first driving instructor just after turning 17 and I was simply not satisfied with him. I quit after about three/four hours of lessons and left driving completely. Almost a year afterwards, I found Mel. As anyone can see, I can be very picky and hard to please when it comes to instructors; which I think is fair when you're committing yourself to learning to drive. Having had a driving instructor before, I was able to compare Mel with my previous experience. There was no contest. Mel was miles better (if you excuse the pun). She took time to explain everything and kept notes of each lesson. She was able to quickly identify any weaknesses and with the help of her notes, we tackled my driving effectively and efficiently. I get nervous easily in tense situations such as a driving exam, yet Mel allowed my driving to reach a point where I felt confident and could drive safely despite the tension. I passed first time. I seriously recommend Mel to anyone who wants to learn to drive. As she says, she will leave no stone unturned.

Couldnt of done it without mel!!
Since i turned 17 all I had wanted to do was drive. I failed 2 tests and eventually gave up! Since moving to kingston and turning 21 I decided enough was enough and put my head back to drving. I found mel through this website and she saw where i had been going wrong. She taught me to be a confident and safe driver. I passed my test a week ago in rush hour morning traffic in tolworth! And only two minors!Still cant stop smiling! I really couldnt of done it with out mel.Not only is she a great instructor she has become a great friend too!looking forward to doing my pass plus with her! I would completley recommend Mel's School Of Motoring to anyone who wants to learn to drive and pass with flying colours!! Thanks mel!

Mel's an excellent Instructor
Being middle-aged (but not looking it) and having made several previous attempts to pass the driving test, I came across the first two reviews below. Subsequently with remedial work and guidance from Mel I passed my driving test with only two minor faults. Mel thank you so much for your support and tuition.

1st time pass!
I only started driving 7 months ago and although excited, i was nervous at the same time because i wanted to be on the road as soon as possible. Mel made me feel really comfortable and confident about my driving and i passed first time! i was so happy as i passed before my friends even though i started later. This is all thanks to Mel and the way she taught me to be confident about the way i drive. I really recommend Mel to anyone and I couldnt have picked someone better. Thanks Mel!

I passed first time too with MSM!
I passed my test a month ago having signed up with Mel's school of Motoring earlier last year. I too passed first time on a Monday morning rush hour and went away with the confidence to drive about 1500 miles over Christmas on all types of road in all conditions. I gained this confidence from Mel's style of teaching - she is both experienced and patient. In putting you into 'real world' situations rather than doing the same lap every lesson she gives you the road sense that you'll need to pass both the practical and theory tests. Mel is also a harsh marker in the mock tests which brings you up to the level you need to pass first time. Nothing in my real test surprised me and that was due to Mel's knowledge and experience of what the examiners are looking for and the various routes they may take you! I would not hesitate in recommending Mel's School of Motoring for anybody who wants to both pass first time and be a confident and safe driver.

Don't hesitate to use Mel
I had failed my test a number of times before I signed up with Mel's School of Motoring. She quickly saw where I had been going wrong, and was able to fix all of the errors that were causing me problems. My confidence was slowly restored and I was quickly back to test standard. With pass rates going down and tests seemingly getting harder, it is essential that you have an instructor who knows what the examiners expect, and corrects problems as soon as they see them. Mel's knowledge and professionalism enables her to carry this out with her students. Now I have passed I laugh in the face of the Tolworth roundabout, and could reverse around a corner with my eyes closed. (although I don't, of course). I recommend Mel to new learners who want to pass quickly without wasting too much time and money on failing - and those who have failed a number of times and need to get back on track. Feedback on Mels School Of Motoring
Mel was an excellent teacher, I must say. I was able to pass my driving test first time !!, during rush hour on a Monday Morning. Mel knew exactly what was going to be in the test, and with her in depth knowledge made sure I was ready to take the test and felt confident. During the lesson she showed great patience as when I started I had ever driven before. From the well explained, great knowledge of driving and patience as well as teaching me in a manner which meant that I learned, am so happy as I passed and have achived great freedom being able to drive. I will be contacting Mel to learn the FirstPlus advance driving as this will provide me with cheaper insurance and allow me to be able to react in any situation on the road. I would honestly like to thank Mel and recommend her to all the leaners as when I started never knew anything about driving and now I am a confident driver and also have done long distance motorway driving.
