Get a second opinion, at all costs
Having recently engaged Mylcrist builders to replace our bathroom floor that had been damaged by a previously hidden leak. We have been left extremely disappointed ...we have been left with a new floor that moves and makes as much noise as the previous damaged floor. We have subsequently been informed that this is what should have expected because of the state of the joists....my question is why tell me this after the work has been done, if joists needed replacing then tell me , this surely would have lead to them making more money. The attitude seems to be as this was an insurance job, take the money and run...I definately would not recommend.
