They provide the love, caring, dignity and fun that normally only comes from a family member. The attention to the little things - like when my mother could not change the TV channel - was appreciated far more than they will ever know. I certainly put Kay to the test in recent months as my mother went through some very challenging times and Kay was forever there willing to change the schedule.
