Appalling service
I have recently hired a maternity nurse through Maternity Solution/Nannyworld. While I am very happy with the maternity nurse herself, I have received appalling service and poor value for money from Maternity Solutions. When I complained about it, instead of simply apologising, Tonya sent me a list of lame excuses/justifications for her poor behaviour. I would urge you to go to another agency if you are looking for one who provides support and respect to their clients

Horrifying experience
We found out that the nanny we hired through this agency, a live-in nanny, was sending multiple pornographic pictures of herself, some very graphic, taken at our home. We fired the nanny as soon as we learned about it. It was so bad that my wife got the Police involved. The nanny stayed with us for about 8 weeks, and we claimed the agency the money back, because the nanny they provided was so clearly unsuitable. They refused to listen to our numerous requests and limited themselves to offering a replacement. Obviously with all our trust in them lost we hired another nanny, great one this time, through another agency. Nannyworld will still refuse to refund the fee claiming that they have fulfilled their obligations with us. While that is probably true on paper, I would strongly discourage any other family from using this agency. Their vetting proccess looks flawed and their client service is horrendous. It has been one of the most horrifying experiences of our life as parents. Update on Nov 2nd, 2012 - To give a bit more colour on how this agency operates, Angela Hovey, the agency's MD, is threatening to sue me for the above review.
