A lost transport, brought back to life.
Nottingham Canal route from Colwick Marina to Beeston Marina passes a number of major landmarks and developments that shows the history and modernism of Greater Nottingham. This history as well as the past achievements of the canal would be lost if not for the Nottingham Narrowboat Project. Once on board you can watch or get hands on with the opening and closing of the locks. This is not only a great experience for witnessing history and modernism in a major city, but helps with mental health and also will naturally make a person become healthier. You can book in groups or as part of a community or school group. Would highly recommend.
