Net Lets is the brain child of Steven McCready and John Cooney, both of whom have vast experience in the property market as landlords and developers. We saw a gap in the market that meant we could improve Customer Service and decrease costs. This has been achieved by reviewing the current letting process, resulting in an exciting business model that gives you, the landlord and tenant more control and more access, freeing up more of your precious time.

About Steven McCready

Steven really made a name for himself as Director of Brands Home & Leisure, which he bought through an MBO in the 1990's, then later sold to an overseas company.

With the capital gained from the company sale, he decided to setup Management 47 Ltd, to specialise in investment property and thus becoming a full time landlord.

The landlord experience was a steep 10 year learning curve, cumulating in the realisation that most agents are charging far too much for what is a fairly simple service. As a result, the low cost Lettings agency concept was born, which ultimately resulted in Net-Lets.com.

About John Cooney

John's background is working as a Consultant for Blue-Chip organisations, specialising in driving change, improving business processes and delivering quality IT systems, with the ultimate goal of reducing business costs and improving service. He has extensive experience of the property market, as both a developer and Landlord and realised that with some analysis he could strip out much of the time-consuming and costly overheads associated with Agents. After discussions with Steven, Net Lets was born.

Steven and John are well-respected and trusted individuals. The idea of Net Lets was conceived in December 2011 and launched in March 2012. In less than three months, the concept was delivered, with a list of properties ready to market before the web site was even ready. At launch, Net Lets will have almost 30 properties to advertise and that is without any marketing. We have been able to achieve this based on our existing reputations.
