What type of Qualifications do we offer?

QCF qualifications are now the recognised qualifications that have replaced the NVQ. Any QCF course that is recognised as a formal qualification will be registered with OFQUAL (The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) and it is important to ensure any QCF qualifications that are advertised as such, are registered with OFQAL.
The qualifications we offer are all based on the QCF framework and registered with OFQAL through our awarding body. Though the QCF framework has replaced the NVQ there is no requirement for those holding an NVQ to retake the training under the QCF framework. The QCF is based on the same underpinning of the NVQ and only the course design has changed meaning all NVQ Qualifications are still very much recognised in the workplace.

How do I enrol with New Focus College?

Enrolling with us couldn't be easier.

We aim to ensure that your learning experience starts the right way and that those first steps run as smoothly as possible. After enrolling with us we create your personal profile on our central database and allocate your personal tutor to you. You will receive a Learner Information Pack that will confirm all of your registration details and how your course will be delivered.

We then create your profile on our learning platform uploading you onto the course you have chosen to study. This is completed within 2 working days of your enrolment with new Focus.

You will receive email confirmation of your profile being created along with login details to access your chosen course content.

If any of the details we send over are incorrect it is important that you let us know immediately to ensure we can correct the error at the earliest opportunity.

All that is left to do is get started but don't panic we will be there every step of the way. Our qualified tutors will be there to answer any questions about the course content guiding through each unit.
