very impressed with New ID
The New ID group are a great company to use if you are looking for a really effective makeover and photoshoot. They have several branches ,there are two in London and others in Cardiff, Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham, Bristol and Glasgow. I chose Temple Street Birmingham because it is local to me but if you are not familiar with the area you are going to there is a handy map with parking and train info on the website. There are several different makeover packages to choose from.The deals range in price, there is a last minute deals page as well, prices range from twenty pounds to five hundred. You can buy prints that range from fifty to two hundred and fifty pounds or chose a deal where they put them on CD. They also sell frames and albums as well as a range of cosmetics.I brought four pictures and some makeup. The experience lasted for four and a half hours, quite a bit of that time is spent waiting for your turn to have your hair or makeup done or waiting for the photo studio to be free, the longest wait is while they develop your pictures and then you have to wait several weeks for them to be delivered. The studio is very lively and there is a lot going on to keep you entertained while you wait your turn. The staff were very friendly, they are also very professional and seem to work well under the pressure of perhaps having too many clients in at one time. I was happy with my hair and makeup and was amazed how good the pictures were. I would certainly go again and I am more than happy to give New ID my recommendation

Loved this place!
I've never had a more enjoyable experience at a hair salon. Seriously, most of the times, getting your hair done can dull to say the least. But this place just rocks. I had so much fun talking to my ‘hair technician’ as well as the lady getting a new do next to me. The vibe is absolutely perfect and there I was really impressed with how clean the place was even though it was really busy. I can't find enough awesome things to say about New ID and Burlingtons Studio. I went there because I was given an icon professional makeover and photoshoot for my 21st birthday present. First, the hair care and skin care services are fantastic! I have never had such a creative hair care and cutting services as provided by the New ID staff. They were careful to listen to my wants, and then translate this into an up-to-date hair style that made me look totally awesome. I got bit scared just before the shoot, but the guy that did the shots, wow! He made me feel completely at ease to the point where i didn't even notice the camera. My only complaint - there were too many good pictures to pick from! I thought I'd have to frame all of them! Great job. I am for ever grateful to New ID for capturing my best side. You don't have to pay an absolute fortune to look like a million dollars!

New ID
The New ID website is great, everything is really easy to find, the information is all there, all of the prices are there so there are no big surprises, it is a very well organized site. The booking process is very easy, getting a voucher, making the appointment is all very easy indeed The salon was very easy to find thanks to the map on the website no problem at all The receptionist was very efficient and very friendly The welcome was very warm, got a drink, had a seat, filled in some forms, very efficient, very unhurried and very professional. The hair dresser was very polite, very friendly and very good at her job, she put some very nice layers into my hair and gave me some good advice on conditioning my very long hair. Make up was really good, she used a lot of products that she explained how to use and why to use them and how to make the makeup stay on longer. I felt very comfortable to ask a lot of questions and she was very happy to answer them, I felt like I learned a lot about makeup, I got lots of refreshments throughout the makeover I was very impressed with the photographer who took some nice shots, I had shots taken in all three of the outfits that I took along, a comment on another review asked the score here and I would like to confirm that you do indeed take your own clothes along to have your pictures taken in. I had to wait half an hour to see the pictures that came out great, the viewing guy was polite to me and there was no hard sell.. I got a 5 x 7 free and I paid sixty pounds for a 6 x 8, ninety nine pounds for a 12 x 16 and one hundred and forty nine pounds for a 16 x 20 As for what is not so good about New ID well as you can see the pictures are not cheap and you have to wait ages for them to be delivered but that is about the only down side in my opinion

Full marks for New ID from me
I was very happy with my makeover at New ID. I had no intention on spending nearly one thousand pounds on prints or having a massive row with my husband about it but believe me the shots are so good you are going to want way more than you think you are so be warned about that. No pushy sales though, they were so beautiful they simply sold themselves. It is very hard to turn down pictures of you looking really incredible so I don’t regret it. The staff were all very pleasant. The salon is nice, its clean and has a nice atmosphere. I was there for four hours and they don’t give you food, plenty of Bucks Fizz but nothing to eat so take something along if you, like me, get hungry every couple of hours! I think full marks for New ID,I would love to go again.

The atmosphere at New ID is so relaxed, nice big comfy sofas to sip bucks fizz on and go through books of hair and make-up so you can get a really good idea of what you want if you didn’t already know when you walked in. There were lots of people there but a no point did I feel that I was not being taken care of and was given the chance to fill in a form asking what I did and did not want and was obviously a great way for the artists for get a feel for what you wanted rather than just guessing. Both the hair and make-up artist went over the form before they started to sort of confirm what kind of look I was after and then went to work and the transformation had begun. What particularly impressed me was the way the make-up artist managed to hide every blemish and imperfection on my face, even though I went for the natural look with minimal use of make-up it was still flawless. I got total stage fright during the photo shoot but the 30 something photographer really did put me at ease and after only a few minutes I was going with the flow. I had three outfit changes and by the last one I was really into the swing of it, its probably best to save your best outfit for last if you are like me and a bit shy because they were by far the best pictures because I had started to really feel it. After the shoot I had a bit of a wait that was pleasantly accompanied by a few glasses of bucks fizz and then it was choice time, and its so hard to choose! Its quite a good system though, first you go through and discard the ones that you definitely don’t want and then you pick from the ones that are left, I knew I was going to want more than I could afford and it is a very difficult choice when you have so many good shots to choose from but I got there in the end and was very happy with my selection.

Great service from New ID
Having a makeover at New ID is really good. I went last month and loved it. I want to make a special mention of the staff who were all so friendly and really made me feel very welcome. As soon as I got into the salon I had a glass of Bucks Fizz is my hand and seconds later I was sitting with a lovely girl that told me all about the salon and how the makeover was going to work. She took a look at my outfits and we figured out the best look for me to go for with my hair and makeup. I had my hair washed and cut and dried and then after that they did my makeup and then it was time to go and have the pictures taken that is done in a smaller studio. I then had to wait an hour to see the prints. The viewing was done in a small room and there was no pressure to buy that was great. The whole deal took about four and a half hours. The prints range in size and prices and are not cheap. The voucher for the makeover was only fifty pounds and I have had worse hair cuts for that amount of money. I was very impressed with New ID and would be happy to go again in the future.

Enjoyable Makeover
I first went to New ID to have a makeup lesson that was really good and taught me a lot about makeup and about how to take care of my skin and about choosing the right products as well as application. My sister decided to go and have a makeover with them and when she booked online she found that there was a two for one deal so she took me with her. We both found the quality of the makeover to be very impressive and we loved both the hair and makeup as well as the free sparkling wine and of course the moisturizing treatment that was very luxurious. The salon had nice feel to it and was pretty well oraganised. We had a bit of a hard time trying to chose which of the prints that we wanted at the end of it, we both wanted to have them framed so the CD was not for us. We were treated very well by all of the staff who, contrary to what we have read elsewhere online were not at all pushy when it came to sales. I would be happy to recommend New ID and enjoyed both of my experiences there tremendously.

New ID Review
Other than the fact that I could not afford nearly as many of the shots as I would like to have had I thought New ID was totally amazing. The quality of the prints, that arrived yesterday, four weeks after the shoot, are amazing quality and I am as proud as punch of them. The salon staff are really amazing, talented and really friendly as well. I was not excepting this experience to be anywhere near as good as it was and I would feel very confident recommending it to anybody. The whole experience took just over three and a half hours and I loved every minute of it and from what I could tell just about everybody else there was loving it just as much as I was. The quality of the salon products is really good and I was very impressed with cosmetic range. The quality of service here is over and above what I personally expected and as the cost of the actual vouchers are so low I would say it is one of the best value experiences I have had. The cost of the prints is a bit prohibitive if you go for the big ones but on the whole I would say the whole thing is extremely well run.

I really loved my New ID Makeover

OK I never had any intention of spending that amount and chose a deal that included just one pictures thinking that would be enough for me but the shots were so amazing I just had to have them! The four hours I spent being made over and given my very own New ID were made even more fantastic by the wonderfully friendly staff that I got along with very well, be that makeup, hair, photographers, viewing assistant, consultant and the receptionist, they were all top dollar and really made my makeover and shoot special. The only thing that I was a bit put out by was the fact that you have to pay postage for the voucher when you book online to get it to your house and then you have to pay postage on top of that for the prints to be sent to you, when you consider the cheapest print is 50 pounds I think that is unnecessary but the rest of it is fantastic, and I loved the free Bucks Fizz!

New ID
I thought that New ID was very professionally operated. The standards in all aspects of the Deluxe version of the deal that I chose were very high. I was impressed with the cosmetics range and the level of professionalism demonstrated by all the staff and their product knowledge seemed to me to be very high. They confidently recommended products that suited my skin and complimented my skin tone. I thought the makeup was applied beautifully and I was impressed with the cut they did for me on my rather wayward hair. They salon has a very nice atmosphere and the only things that I think could be improved on is the amount of time it takes for the prints to be delivered to you, I think they should book less people at a time, they seemed a little rushed when I was there and it would be great if they could reduced the price of the prints or offer more deals as although they were within my budget somebody like my daughter would struggle to pay that amount. The staff certainly deserve a mention for being highly trained and it was nice to find that the salon was immaculately clean.

Sexy shots at New ID
I took my rather reluctant partner for a makeover for two at New ID. My sister and her husband have always had amazing professional pictures of themselves around their house and when they went away and left me to house sit I discovered that they have a very nice shot of them in their bedroom, in their underwear, its black and white and there was no way that I was not going to have the same for me and my partner so without even telling him I got online and brought a voucher, then booked then told him the day before what we were up to! I have to say that he was not amused but when he figured out the photographer was a rather attractive lady, he did not have to have makeup on, only a haircut and there was free bucks fizz as part of the deal he was a lot happier. We had some shots in our weekend wear to start off with and to get comfortable and then it was down to my frilly lingerie and his boxers. It was odd we felt so comfortable it was like the most normal thing to be doing in the world! That is thanks to the incredible professionalism of New ID and the very supportive photographer. We would be more than happy to recommend this experience to anybody.

Beauty at New ID
I really liked having a makeover at New ID. After a lot of deliberation I went for the Deluxe version, it was not the cheapest but i wanted to have a Burlingtons hair cut and the really cheap ones don’t include that, they only include a dry hair style. So I brought the fifty pounds voucher and turned up on the day very excited and a little bit nervous. The reception woman was lovely and made me a cup of tea and we had chance to have a chat about the sort of makeup I wanted as well as the hair cut. This took all my nerves away. I had a great hair cut and some incredible makeup and got a great moisturizing treatment as well. I was a bit shaky when I first went into the shoot as I didn’t have much idea what to expect having not done it before but we took it slow and I very quickly got the hang of it and had a really lovely time showing off for the camera and the rather dishy looking guy behind it. It took an hour to process the shots and then I got to see them all and felt quite overwhelmed at how amazing they were. I chose four that I thought were the best and go one free as part of the deal. It was all really excellent and great fun to boot!

New ID are amazing
I was so nervous about having a makeover before I went but I can tell you now that it is one of the best things that I have ever done. It is way better than just getting your hair done and that is another thing, if you want the best haircut you have ever had then this is the place to go. My Mum swears by Burlingtons, I had never been before but now that I have I am not going to go anywhere else to get my hair done, not ever! The makeup they did was amazing. But when they were putting it on they were putting so much on I wondered what it was going to look like, it felt a bit like it was caked to my face and there was so much eye shadow my eye lids felt heavy but it looked super great in the shots. The worst thing about this deal is the agonizing choice of shots at the end. I wished that I could have had all of them and really wanted to get a whole CD of them but they are very pricy so prepare for the fact that you can only afford to have a few of them unless you are really rich. I would recommend this salon to anybody that has a few hundred pounds to spend and it does make you look and feel completely amazing.

Really great value
What I liked the most about New ID and I really loved all of it, was the value for money. I don’t know how they manage to do so much for so little. The fifty pounds that I paid got me the makeup, the hair cut and style, the shoot, a viewing session, a free prints and free Bucks Fizz cocktail and I don think you would be able to find a better deal that that anywhere, that is less than I normally pay just for a haircut and style. The New ID makeover took about four hours and it was all very enjoyable. There are some great background to use for the photoshoot that results in some amazing shots to chose from so be prepared to not know which ones you are going to want to take home with you, I would loved to have had all of mine but you could never afford all of them they start at two hundred and fifty pounds and go down to fifty depending on what size you want. there is a ten pounds postage fee and it takes around eight weeks for them to get to you. I have not had mine through the post yet but when I do I will come back and give you an update.

Wonderful New ID
This New ID makeover and photoshoot lark is really marvelous. I was told about New ID from a friend at work and then forgot all about it. Later I found it online and now I have been I really wish I had gone sooner. New ID makeovers are so inexpensive, I know the prints are not cheap but to be able to enjoy a fantastic hair cut, professional makeup, Bucks Fizz, photoshoot and a private viewing session for fifty pounds is completely marvelous and on that deal I even got one free print. This is a very uplifting few hours that is affordable by anybodies standards and being in the studio is great. The people are friendly ,its well run and well organized and certainly well priced. It is not often that I can afford the sort of pampering that I would like to be able to indulge in but you certainly can here, it’s great. I would like to make special mention here about the staff who are lovely. I was one of those annoying customers that did not really know what I wanted, took too many outfits along and just pestered them all the time and in return they were nothing other than friendly, pleasant and polite and a joy to be around. This is one of the best things I have ever done and I am looking forward to round two in a few months time.

Great makeover but pricy prints
I have only given this makeover experience a three star rating for value. This is slightly unfair as the actual deals for the makeovers are really good value for money. I though the deluxe package that I got for fifty pounds was really good value for money because this included a really great hair cut which for sure would have cost a lot more than fifty pounds if you just went and had a hair cut , wash and blow dry/style at any hair salon. It also included a consolation, free alcoholic beverages or soft drinks, makeup and of course the photoshoot and you get to take home a free print. So this is five star value, the reason I have given it a three star rating is because the only problem is the prints are so expensive. They start at fifty pounds and go up to two hundred and forty nine so that bit is not good value if you ask me and that is why I stuck to the three star rating. The makeover itself is fantastic. The salon is great. The staff are amazing. Its clean,, fun and well worth doing, only the cost of the prints would stop me going again.

I liked New ID
I liked New ID when I went there for a makeover and photoshoot. I liked all of the staff, all very friendly, all quite young but very good at what they do. The studio had a very nice young and trendy feeling about it and I really enjoyed being around the others that were having a makeover and the staff. I was very pleased with both hair and makeup, the makeup was done in a tiny bit of a rush but it looked really amazing. I am considering going back for one of their makeup lessons, a few of us might go as part of m friends Hen Weekend. I was well impressed with the hair cut and will be using the Burlingtons part o the outfit to have my hair done in the future. The shoot was a bit daunting at first, there were lots of backgrounds to chose from and I had forgotten the skirt that I was going to wear so that threw me right off! But the photographer was great and I soon got into it and I was surprised how well I came across in the shots, they were great. The hardest part of all of it is chosing from the many pictures. I found that really hard. They are not very affordable so if you are on an average wage you wont be able to afford that many. I am not saying they are not worth the money because they are but make sure you check out the prices before you go in! they are all on the website.

New ID did a great makeoer for me.
I have read lots of reviews about New ID over the last couple of years that I have been considering having a makeover and its been a pretty mixed bag but the last year I have read some wonderful reviews and after putting a bit aside each week for nearly two years I decided to go for it. The cost of the makeover was only twenty five pounds and had it not been for the rather pricey prints or CD at the end of it I would have gone ages ago. I knew I was under no obligation to buy the prints but I did want to be sure I could afford them if I did want them and they were so good I am very glad that I went with enough money to buy five of the best of them to go with the one that I got free with the deal. I was shocked how good it was especially when you consider how cheap the actual voucher that you buy off line is. Once you buy it they send you a pack and you phone up to book an appointment. The makeover takes about five hours. Be prepared that a lot of that time you are not actually having anything done though, because there are more customer than staff, so take a book if you don't like people watching as I do. I really enjoyed New ID despite the delays and loved the hair, makeup, camera, atmosphere, the lot!

Loved New ID and my Photoshoot
I got roped into having a makeover with a very good friend of mine who had been given a voucher as a gift. She was really excited about going but has little to no self confidence and didn't want to go on her own. I have known June for years and I know she has never felt comfortable in front of a camera and does her best to make sure she stays out of every picture that has ever been taken so I was very surprised that she was up for this kind of experience and not a bit surprised that she was utterly determined not to go alone, and who got roped in? I did I don't really mind being in front of a camera but I don't go in for a lot of fancy make up or hair styles, I have virtually spent my life with my hair in a French plat and really have never much considered doing anything else with it! We had a look at a lot of magazines before we went to try too work out what kind of style we should go for. June had a wonderful colour put on her hair that covered her gray completely and took years off her. I got some long layers put in my hair so I can now wear it down as well as put it in my usual plat and it felt quite glamorous and a lot younger with it down for a change. We were both pretty nervous going into the photo studio but we needn't have worried the photographer chappy was really sweet and made us both feel like models and as if it was the kind of thing that we did every day. I didn't really expect much from the pictures but was really surprised when if saw them, I looked like a different woman and found it hard to believe that it was me, I was really impressed and couldn't stop looking at them. June was almost in tears over hers she looked so beautiful, it was such a treat. We both spent way more than we had planned on spending but we are both thrilled to bits with the pictures.

New ID Makeover
On the whole I think that New ID do really good makeovers. The only thing that think they could change is to reduce the cost of the prints. I think that two hundred and forty nine pounds for a picture, no matter how big it is is just silly and most people, or perhaps your average person should I say could not really afford that but the rest of it is awesome. I mean the way they do your hair and makeup is just amazing and it is true, it is a bit of a miracle to have a makeover and find out how utterly amazing you can look. It kind of makes you realize how hopeless you are yourself and doing hair and makeup when they make you look a billion and one times better than you can make yourself look. I told them that I would love to be able to make myself look that good for special occasions and they told me about two other services they do. You can go there for a makeup lesson, that I fully intend to do in the near future and they also do Beauty on the Go where you can pop in and for twenty five quid they do it all for you, I fully intend to take them up on that offer as well. Really good all round just a bit too pricy on the shots!

Had a blast at New ID
My makeover with New ID was truly wonderful. I came away feeling years younger and totally revitalized. I can't really remember the last time I had a really good hair cut. My hair has been thrown up in a bun since about 1995! It was lovely to finally let it down and get all of those dead ends cut off and have a happy and professional hairdresser finally cut it into a style that not only suites me but has taken years off me! The staff and New ID made me feel very welcome. I was a little bit shy to start off with because I live and work on a farm and have five brothers so I really am a totally tom boy and going in there took me right out of my comfort zone. It did not take very long before I felt really relaxed, mind you that could have had quite a lot to do with the Bucks Fizz that I was piling down! The makeup was amazing. I hardly ever wear makeup and was amazed at the products that all seem to do about three things packed into one. The woman that did my makeup was really helpful and friendly and she gave me some really easy to follow instructions for makeup use. I will never use it during the day but it is nice to know now that I have a basic kit and the knowledge I need to apply it so I can look more like a woman every now and again. The pictures were really nice. I found it a bit hard to believe it was me. It was nice to get out of farm clothes and just for a few hours feel like a lady. I really do recommend this experience.

New iD
I recently lost my camera on the last day of my holiday and felt gutted that I did not have a lot of pictures of myself, especially when I lost three stone before I went and I had a cracking sun tan. I was talking to my friend about it when I got back and she suggested that we went for a makeover and photoshoot with New ID. She was going to go the following week anyway but when she brought the voucher she got it on a two for one deal so she gave me the other one. We went along and had such a brilliant time. I didn't have much idea about what to expect. I knew that it did not involve having my hair cut and washed and dried as she had brought a voucher that excluded that but I didn't mind at all because I had mine done just before I went on holiday. But the package did include having dry hair styling, and they made both of our hair look incredible and it included makeup and a photoshoot in up to four outfits and a free print as well as free drinks. I was so happy. We both loved having our makeup done and we have been trying to do it the same way ourselves since we got back with the help of the face chart that they gave us that shows you where to put what where, we have not got it exactly the same but Mandy brought the cosmetics off the internet (New ID own brand) and we are almost there. The photos have not come yet because they take up to eight weeks to get to you but obviously we saw them in the viewing session and they are totally and utterly amazing. I can't rave about New ID enough. I didn't know I was going but I am so glad that I did and now I have lots of amazing photos to look forward to I don't mind so much about my lost shots on holiday.

Loved New ID twice
I didn't have any problem with this company on either of the two occasions that I used them. I have been there once for a deluxe makeover. I phoned them before hand to get a list of their terms and conditions and they directed me to the website where I found all of them laid out in a very clear and concise way. The voucher came, I booked the appointment and it was all very trouble free. I arrived on the day to a very warm welcome by the staff and a glass of champagne. I enjoyed the pre makeover consultation as it gave me chance to explore my options with regards to the style I wanted for my hair and for my makeup. I thought both the hair and the makeup were exceptionally good and I got the opportunity to ask lots of questions and to get some good advice on both during the session. The photoshoot was executed very professionally and the talent of the photographer was evident in the resulting pictures that I enjoyed going over in the private viewing session afterwards. I ordered the shots that I wanted and was offered frames that I declined because I had already brought some. The photos arrived a few weeks later and were pretty much perfect. I then went back to New ID to have a makeup lesson for myself and my daughter, we both enjoyed it and got a lot out of it. I had no problems at all with New ID and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Very good service at New ID
I was very impressed with New ID Makeover and Photoshoot Studio. I have had several of these kind of experiences in the last ten years. I do quite a lot of glamour modeling and modeling for home style magazines and often need a new photos for my portfolio. Of all of the companies I have used I have to say that this one is the best. The last one I used before I made the decision to only use New ID from now on was dreadful and always when you went there they gave you some ‘incentive' for free shots and drinks and goodie bags, this normally meant handing over lots of phone numbers of friends and family so they could cold call them and get them to go along and have a makeover as well. Not only does this smack of desperation for customers it is also incredibly unprofessional and this is the main reason I chose to never go there again even though the standard of photography was good. You don't get any of that kind of sales tactics with New ID. You pay for a photoshoot and a makeover and that is what you get. This company is run professionally. The quality of hair and makeup is fantastic and they are polite and do what you pay them to do. I have always been very impressed with the quality of their makeovers and will continue to use them as long I am in the industry that I am in.

Awesome time at New ID Studio
Other than having to wait eight weeks to get my pictures, the snotty guy that showed me the pictures and tried to get me to go out on a date with him and the pictures being so expensive I loved New ID and my makeover – photoshoot experience with them. It is all pretty cool, you book online, get a voucher, book the appointment, rock up, get seen by a consultant who asks you what you do and don't want, then you wait for a while, get your hair done, wait for a while, get your makeup done, wait for a while, have the most amazing time ever having your photos done in loads of great positions with lots of different backgrounds. You get given lots of lovely bubbly to drink, you get lots of great conversation, you get right into the swing of things with the funky music, you get lots of attention and lots of pampering. You get to see over one hundred pictures of yourself looking amazing and then you have to try to choose which ones you want, this is totally impossible but a lot of good fun if it was not for Mr Snotty trying to get me to go on a date! I was really upset that I had to wait for the pictures, I wanted them there and then and must have missed that on the website because I had no idea that you had to wait that long but it was a great day, I loved it and would not have missed it for the world even though a couple of bits could have been better

I had a very good makeover with New ID
I was pretty impressed with New ID. This is not the first makeover that I have had, had one a few years ago with Double Take who compared to New ID were very aggressive in their sales pitch, they asked for friends phone numbers and tried to give you lots of gimmicky type deals if you got all of your friends to go along and have a makeover as well. The makeover itself was OK but I felt very uncomfortable by their approach to marketing. New ID on the other hand were, in my opinion, a lot more professional about things. I was not asked to rope any of my friends or family in to having a makeover but the crazy thing is that I have recommended them to a lot of my friends and family, but because they were so good and I enjoyed the experience so much rather than feeling that I had to. The makeover lay out was pretty similar. Welcome drink, consultation, hair, makeup, phototshoot, viewing session, but the atmosphere was a lot nicer and the experience and pictures sold themselves. The experience lasted about five hours, which is quite a lot time but through out the time I was there I got free drinks and there was plenty going on to look at and everybody, included the other people having makeover was friendly and I had a lot of fun. I thought both the hair and makeup they did for me was great. I am just sorry that you have to wait for up to eight weeks to get your prints because I can't wait to show them off to everybody.

I loved New ID and the look they created for me
I have got nothing but good things to say about this company and the Deluxe makeover experience that I had there that included hair and makeup, a professional photoshoot and a private viewing session where I brought to tears by the incredible pictures they took of me that day and how completely amazing they made me look. I took along three outfits that I thought that I looked good in and they really matched the makeup to them to perfection it was incredible. I have never come close to looking that good before and I was overwhelmed with the makeup and hair and how friendly and courteous the staff were, they made such a fuss of me and even though the salon was really busy they gave me an amazing amount of personal attention. I thought that this deal was really good value for money and the pictures, although not cheap, were great value for money when you see the quality of them. I think anybody that would like to look good and have a bit of a lift to their spirits would really enjoy this makeover and photoshoot experience.

New ID makeover and photographic studio
I was really impressed with the treatment, and treatments for that matter, that I had during my four hour deluxe package makeover that I had with New ID. I found the website by accident but was interested in it the moment I found it. I found the videos and the before and after pictures really useful and right away I knew I wanted to go. I found the prices straight away for the deals on site and thought they were very reasonable indeed. I didn't think the photos were quite as affordable but I did compare them to the price our local photographer charges and another company offering a similar service and was satisfied that they were a very reasonable price. I did not hesitate to book an appointment. I was going to do at the weekend but they did not have a free appointment for several weeks, I was owed a bit of holiday time anyway so went ahead and booked a mid week appointment. Without exception all of the staff were very friendly and all very good in their individual fields and they went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. I was very impressed with the makeover and especially the photo session that was very interesting and enjoyable. I would not hesitate to recommend New ID, they do a very good makeover at a very reasonable price and the pictures came out outstanding.

Really good makeover at New iD
I had a far better time than I anticipated at New ID, I only paid twenty five pounds for the makeover so was half expecting it to be a bit of a hit and miss, as that price included makeup, hair, photo session, free drink, free print etc, you have to ask yourself how they can give a good service when it is that cheap, but for that kind of money I just thought that it would be good fun and worth it, I was so shocked to find how professional it was, they used really good quality products, the people that work there are all really professional and have a lot of experience in their field, they all did a great job of the makeover and I felt like a billion dollars, the photo session was sweet, i got along really well with the photographer who did an awesome job of my pictures, so much so that I had a really hard job choosing which ones to buy, it was a bit of a mission but I got there in the end, they turned up yesterday and now look amazing on my wall, seeing them there gives me a lot of confidence and reminds me how good I can look when I make the effort.

New ID makeover
This New ID makeover experience is great, there was nothing that I did not like about it even though I felt very apprehensive about going up in front of the camera, the perfect solution to this for me was to have a bit more of the free Bucks Fizz and a good long chat with the staff who all made me feel very calm and they gave me lots fo direction in the studio so I could pose properly and get some really good pictures. When it came to looking at those pictures I was pretty flabbergasted. They were so much better than I had anticipated and it was very hard to choose which ones to have. The pictures are quite pricy but to be honest this did not bother me at all because the cost of the makeover was very low and I just figured that if I had gone to the hairdressers and had a hair cut and style of that quality it would have cost me the price of two pictures and if I had gone and paid to have professional makeup done it would have cost me the price of two more and that is not even taking into consideration what it would have cost me to hire a private personal and professional photographer. I have to say that even though at the end of the day this does take a chunk out of your pocket it does represent good value for money and I would be more than happy to go back and do this experience again. The other thing that never gets a mention is how its great that New ID have branches country wide and that makes it easy for anybody to go and get a makeover and not have to travel too far. The website had good branch information with maps and train and parking suggestions and I would like to mention the staff who were all wonderful

Great Makeover New ID Studios
I loved having a makeover with New ID the staff were all really nice and made my day really enjoyable, it was a nice salon that was trendy and up to date and had lots of great pictures on the walls of the people that have been there and had a great makeover I had been feeling really down in the dumps since the break down of my marriage and was not feeling at all good about myself and was certainly not in the mood to go back out on the dating scene after twenty years so I thought a good start would be a makeover, I chose the deluxe package that has the following and cost fifty pounds • Voucher comes with Shimmer Gift Box• Welcome & Consultation• Professional Make-up Application• Professional Haircut• Blow-dry and Finish • Professional Photoshoot• Private Viewing Session• Complimentary 12x8 Branded Print• Complimentary Drinks Available Throughout The whole thing was completely great but don't take a credit card because you will end up wanting to buy all of the pictures they are so good, I have never seen myself looking that good and found it hard to believe it was me.

New ID photo shoot and makeover
I had a really good time with New ID and I really liked the pictures, all of my body parts were on them and it was a very professional photo session. I got along very well with the photographer who made it very easy for me, he made me feel very comfortable and he certainly shot some excellent pictures with some lovely composition. I felt very comfortable throughout the whole experience actually, everybody was very sweet, especially the receptionist that kept coming over to check on my progress and make sure I had enough to drink. I find it very hard to pick any major faults with the New ID makeover, it was reasonably priced, I took advantage of a double the money deal so I got my pictures effectively for half price. The salon was nice, well laid out and nicely decorated, it was very busy but at all times the staff were courteous and polite. I thought the pictures represented good value for money and I loved the way that the experience was put together. If I had to change anything it would be nice if they provided a wardrobe so you could try a different way of dressing as well as just changing hair and makeup. I have to give New ID the thumbs up it is the most pampering fun I have had in years!

New ID
I had a super time on my Deluxe makeover with New ID, they did a great job and I looked really amazing in the pictures. I had a look on the New ID website before I went and found all of the information that I needed including terms and conditions and the prices of the pictures, the frames, images on CD if you want them, and of course all of the products that are actually really reasonably priced. There are quite a few different packages and they suit all different budgets, from what I can see and certainly on my package it includes at least one free picture and free drinks all day, I was piling into the bucks fizz make no mistake. The quality of the hair and the makeup was great and I was very impressed with how professional and friendly the staff were because the salon was packed and they were all really busy. I loved the upbeat busy atmosphere of the salon and I loved the photo session which was the best fun I had in years. I have never had a professional shoot before but felt great because the lady that did the photos was very friendly and made it really easy for me. The pictures were great, lovely composition and I had a hard time choosing which ones to take in the private viewing session, I didn't find the sales pitch hard or aggressive I would say it was more a case of gentle persuasion. I loved the experience and am happy to recommend it.

I thought New ID was fantatic
I am genuinely very shocked to read this, and I cant imagine, having been to New ID and having had a make over with them, why on earth anybody would think that they photos were shoddy and not up to standard. I was amazingly impressed with the quality of my pictures as well as the high standard of the over all makeover and photographic shoot experience. I have read another review like this one that states that part of the head has been chopped off in pictures and wonder to myself how that would be possible, I personally can not see any makeover and photo shoot company employing the services of a professional photographer who was not capable of taking a picture without missing part of the subjects head off! Can you? I went to New ID for a deluxe make over and thoroughly enjoyed the experience from start to finish. I received a very warm welcome, the receptionist was very efficient. The consultation was informative and I had ample opportunity to express my wishes and how I wanted to look. The hair styling was wonderful, the make up was fascinating and the result was very pleasing. The photographer was very friendly and made me feel completely at ease and certainly did not miss off any of my body parts in any one of the very nicely composed pictures that were beautifully shot and made full use of the different backgrounds and props that are in the studio to use. I don't think that the photographs are cheap but comparatively speaking I don't think they are out of line with what other companies are charging. I have done a reasonable amount of research as to what other companies charge and I think New ID offer a product that is well with in the parameters of reasonableness. I thought my photographer in particular was very professional and really hope that people are not put off going to enjoy a smashing experience by thinking that any photographer would cut off part of your head on picture because I personally can not think that this is really the case. New ID have a very nice website, they have very friendly staff, they are very helpful, completely reasonable and I am sure if you were unhappy with any aspect of your makeover or photographic session they would be more than happy to do what ever it took to sort it out for you because their reputation must surely depend on it.
