Established in 1989, New Look Carpet Care offers carpet, rug and upholstery cleaning services within a 25 mile radius of Camberley, Surrey, GU15.

New Look Carpet Care is a non franchised family run business. We are Woolsafe approved and Master Rug Cleaner certified. All solutions used are detergent-free, environmentally friendly and wool safe and leave no dirt-attracting residue.

We always pre-spray and then agitate the spray into the carpets to loosen any deep soil and prepare the carpets; this is followed by a defoaming solution to neutralise any residues from previous cleaning. These two steps are vital to obtain a really good result. We then use our truck mounted hot water systems to clean as this enables us to use hotter water giving a much deeper clean and as the extraction is much stronger the carpets are left only slightly damp with a much quicker drying time

How We Clean Carpets

Firstly the carpet is pre-vacuumed and then a pre-spray is applied and all stains are individually treated. The pre-spray is then agitated into the fibres using a rotary floor machine with a brush attachment. This part of the process is very important as it loosens the soil and prepares the carpet for extraction. Without pre-spray and agitation you will never achieve acceptable results.
Defoaming solution is then applied to the carpet and again agitated using the floor machine. This will neutralise any residue present from previous cleaning attempts with such things as proprietary spot cleaners. Without this step residue will be left behind causing rapid resoiling.
Hot water is injected into the fibres and extracted immediately using the truck mounted system. The temperature of the water exceeds anything achievable from a more commonly used portable machine. The high temperature will improve cleaning capabilities and kill anything living amongst the fibres (eg dust mites, germs, bacteria)
The strength of the vacuums is also far more than that of a portable machine which will result in greater soil and moisture removal resulting in in cleaner drier carpets.
Furniture is replaced on protective foil pads.
The carpet is left to dry. We use airmovers to aid drying on the top package (Clean And Protect Plus)

How we clean Upholstery

The process for cleaning upholstery is very similar to carpet cleaning - but more time consuming.
Firstly the upholstery is pre-vacuumed and a water proof ground sheet is placed underneath to protect flooring from any over spray. We then pre-spray all areas and individually treat all stains. The pre spray will then be agitated into the fabric using a soft cotton hand pad. This is a vital part of the process as it loosens the soil and prepares the upholstery for extraction - without pre-spray and agitation you will never achieve acceptable results.
The pre sprayed upholstery is extracted using the truck mounted system - a fine mist is sprayed onto the fabric before being removed with a gentle vacuum.
We use air movers to speed up the drying process and cushions are left in an upright position to aid drying.
Your upholstery will usually be dry by the following day.

How we clean Rugs

New Look Carpet Care is Master Rug Cleaner Certified and all solutions used are detergent-free, environmentally friendly and woolsafe. Rugs are cleaned at our facility in Camberley.
Firstly the front and back of the rug is vacuumed and then the rug is vibrated to knock out the damaging soil.
An overnight colour test is carried out to determine the colourfastness of the rug. The results of this test will determine the chemistry used during the wash.
95% of rugs are submersion washed, but we have various methods of cleaning available.
Rugs are pre-rinsed with plenty of water to remove any existing soap or shampoo from previous cleans.
Detergent and residue free solution is then applied; the solution is agitated with soft brushes.
Rugs are then rinsed using copious amounts of soft water to flush the soil and the solution from the rug. The flushing continues until the water runs clear.
Various drying techniques are used, depending on the rug type, utilising air movers and dehumidifiers.
