My 10 year old PC was extremely slow - I could go and make a cup of tea, and drink it, before the Firefox uploaded. And writing emails was often a trial and error job as typeface took so long to appear, it was like writing invisibly. Very frustrating and counter to what a " .. Nick checked memory; removed unnecessary addons, tidied up the software I needed; rectified errors in a program, downloaded some of my documents/photos onto a flash drive to keep, and deleted them from the system.
