Receipt of Motor Insurance Policy Document

For the past 3 years I have had to call Nig Skandia well past the beginnning of the new Insurance term to request that they send me my Insurance Certificate, I do not think this is good customer service, I have again not received this document despite the due date being Janurary 20th, it should not be upto the customer to have to do this each year.However I know that i wlll never receive it unless I call them to send it, but they continue to take my money each month for a cover that i have no proof of if anything should happen. The insurance policy is in the name of my husband Mr Graham Smith with myself named as second driver. I find this very inconvenient to have to chase this matter every year. I would like something to be done about this and action taken to ensure that we receive the relevant document in time to renew our Car Tax on May 1st. If it does not appear I will be taking legal advice incase we are not in receipt of this document should we need it. I look forward to hearing from you.
