Great for a relaxing evening
The Noel Arms is a really nice place to have a quiet drink. The building is very old and many of the original features have been kept. It has plenty of seating and also has tables outside, which is nice during the summer months. The hotel attracts a mixture of older people who are staying at the hotel as well as local students, so make sure you have ID with you if you're young looking as they seem to ID everyone! Overall the atmosphere is very relaxed, but the staff aren't overly friendly. Drinks can be quiet expensive but no more so that most hotel bars. Food is very expensive though.
