AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND OVERALL EXPERIENCE.

I booked to get a tattoo done here and the day before my appointment was contacted by the 'artist' who sent a design which was nothing like I wanted it. So he agreed to cancel the appointment to give him more time to draw this and rearrange at a later date, a day later he sent me another design which was even worse than the last and even further from the original design I wanted. At this point the artist told me that he thought the design I wanted had too many shapes and elements and urged me to go elsewhere. But I really wanted this doing by him and again we agreed to postpone. A week later and still no design so I contacted the tattooist who admitted he had not had time to draw the design yet but would be drawing it that day. However by this time I was fed up of waiting and requested my deposit back so I could go elsewhere. The artist then refused to give me my deposit back and informed me that all deposit's are non refundable. I was not made aware of this when leaving the deposit and if I was I wouldn't have left it. However there is information about the deposit refund on the website and they do state it is non refundable. The website states that the"deposit covers the time and materials for drawing as well as a tattoo station set up" should the appointment be cancelled. However I am not satisfied that the artist used my deposit to do this and he admitted that the one design he did draw only took an hour to do. I do not feel the fact that I had to cancel because the artist was incapable to do the design I want is a good enough reason for them to not give me a refund. When discussing this with the artist he was very rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend anyone to go here for a tattoo purely because of the customer service. I feel like I've been completely ripped off.
