Myself and my Husband stopped there for two days. Even though the hotel was very busy, nothing was too much trouble and we had a little bit of trouble with our first room and was moved swiftly to another much more exclusive one. The food was great for a set menu. The only thing was they did not cater for diabetics or people on diets. The rooms were very clean and the linen was crisp and the beds comfy. We use a lot of hotels and this was a great hotel if you want a family atmosphere and somewhere to relax and put your feet up. The bus and tram service was brilliant for the winter months, and the trams and buses pass right outside the hotel. We would deffinatley stay here again.

I booked a room here for a long weekend during the illuminations. The hotel wasn't quite as it seemed on the brochures (must have used a softening lens, the lovely castle i was expecting turned out to be concrete!). It wasn't cheap at all and I really felt I received pretty poor value for money
