Rogue Garage service avoid
I took my vauxhall corsa C for a full service and oil leak problem in Longton. They rang me before their garage closing time to inform me my car won't be ready on that day. Since i lived close by, I went to the garage to see what the problem was. To my surprise, when i got there they told me my car was ready. They charged me £330 for the service which included 4 brand-new tyres that they convinced me to buy plus some oil gasket part. I don't think my car was fully serviced though or even serviced at all. Before i took it North Staffs i knew my car had problems with the lights. One of the headlights wasn't working and needed a bulb replacing, had a broken fog light, one of my parking lights needed replacing, my wipers i knew needed replacing. According to the full service information on their website, these are supposed to be checked and fixed as part of a full service but they did not fix any of those problems at all. My car even sounded loud when driving after the service. Took it back and one of the garage workers in the shop was extremely rude and did not want to listen to what i had to say. I kept going back there because my car didn't sound right until they took it for a test drive and apparently it was fine according to them. I took my car to a LM Autos in Tunstall a month later to get the timing chain on my car done. The garage called me mid day to tell me i had an oil leak and a gasket thing needed changing, they also said i had some air flow problem. I had already paid for a gasket and air filter (Air filter included in full service) at North Staffs and they assured me that my oil leak problem was fixed but obviously it hadn't been done. If the gasket, lights,air filter, wipers weren't done, what else did they not do. I feel disgusted and sick to my stomach because i know i got robbed and paid over 300 for a service that wasn't done
