Do not use Oakwell Paving Ltd or Oakwell Paving Yorkshire

Oakwell Paving Ltd installed a resin drive at my home After 2 years it started to crumble The MD Mark Bailey refused to fix it even though I gave him a year before I was finally forced to take him to court The independent expert witness for the court said that the foundations were inadequate, it had been badly installed with the wrong materials used. It will need to be totally replaced. I won the court case and he was ordered to pay me £8241 Before paying he liquidated the company owing £150,405.78 of debts including mine and £93k to HMRC and £40k Covid bounce back loan to the government via Santander Bank. He has now set up Oakwell Paving Yorkshire as a sole trader and will likely walk away from all his debts and any other bad work he’s done including my best friends drive (she’s also taken him to court but as her case hadn’t finished before the liquidation, she’s not listed) You can view all this on Companies House - company number 08134839 I would advise anyone to avoid Mark David Bailey, his wife Susan Bailey, Oakwell Paving Ltd, Oakwell Paving Yorkshire and anything they or their son are involved with.
