Old Church Farm, formerly Alveston Manor was built in the 16th Century next to St Helen's church, which was built in the 10th Century on a Roman site. The church is now a designated ruin but the house has been well maintained by its current owners and previously by Rolls Royce PLC, who used it as a private hotel/conference centre since 1950. The house is furnished with antiques paying tribute to its history complemented by the conference facility which has state-of-the-art equipment and modern business furnishings.
Old Church Farm is just 6 minutes from junction 20 of the M4 and 3 miles from junction 16 of the M5 making it convenient for accessing Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, Badminton and beyond.
The seven luxury ensuite bedrooms can be booked on a room only, B&B or half-board basis or the whole house can be booked for celebrations.
J20 off M4 and follow A38 towards Thornbury for 3 miles. Turn right into Church Road. Go past 50mph signs and turn right onto slip road marked by black and white post on right hand side.
