Oliver's Travels is the parent company behind www.simplychateau.com, www.statelyescapes.co.uk, www.simplyitaly.com and www.simplycaribe.com. The group was set up in 2003, after Ravi and Oliver set up Simply Chateau (the group's first website) after they'd enjoyed a terrific holiday with friends in a French chateau in the Dordogne. The founders were amazed at what terrific value these stunning chateaux rentals represented and decided to spread the word.

To us, there's little in life more special than spending quality time somewhere magical with friends and family, but we struggled to find an easy-to-use website where everyone could rent exclusive, luxury properties, and thus Simply Chateau was born. Now, over a decade later, our group has expanded to cover chateaux, castles, stately homes, beach huts and cottages in Italy, the UK, Spain and the Caribbean as well as France. Our expanding company needed a new name and after a bit of gentle persuasion, Ravi agreed that the company should bear mine.
