HealthSpace Community Clinic - accessible & affordable for all

Whilst it is usual to receive acupuncture treatment in the UK in a one-to-one setting, in China and East Asia this is not always the case. Increasingly in the UK, community clinics are springing up to provide accessible, affordable acupuncture in a community, sometimes called multi-bed, setting. Alison is delighted to be a member of the national ACMAC (Acupuncture for Community and Multibed Clinics).

Health Space will offer this service, with three treatment beds/chairs in two rooms, providing a safe, relaxed atmosphere, open to all.

Patients get to choose how long they want to stay for (up to an hour) and also what they pay, based on a sliding scale, starting from as little as £15 up to £30. This also means they can get the frequency of treatment they may need to get better, faster. Small groups of people may even choose to have treatment together, for example an ante-natal class or a couple.

One Acupuncture serves the whole of North Devon, from our bespoke clinic in the heart of Barnstaple. Our aim is to provide safe and effective Traditional East Asian Medicine (TEAM), delivered by an experienced professional in a supportive and caring environment.

We seek to bring back balance to the whole (both body and mind), so you can achieve your full potential and live life well. We commonly see patients who seek help for Pain, Women's Health (including Fertility & Pregnancy), Mental Health & Cancer Support.

Appointments are available on a traditional one-to-one basis. In addition, our new HealthSpace Community Clinic treats up to three patients at the same time, which means we can provide affordable, accessible treatment for everyone.
