One River

Sitting with friends in a Bhaktapur restaurant, we discussed the problems of river pollution in Nepal. We were all struck by the idea that one river can cross many borders, linking and supporting people of different countries and cultures: People who must share in the responsibility of maintaining a clean flow of life giving water for everybody along its course.

Hence the source of One River, a company based on shared responsibility and shared benefit. We start high in the Himalayas: With our sister company, Cocowai, we have been working in Nepal for over 20 years and produce the finest cashmere accessories and home ware, selling wholesale to some of the most prestigeous department stores and boutiques in the UK and abroad. One River now brings these and other beautiful products from the region to those of you who can not access our valued retail customers.

We continue to source all our products ethically, and do what we can to support local communities. To this end we give 10% of our profits to charity, starting with our own Cocowai Trust, that supports the homeless elderly in Kathmandu. Refunds & Exchanges

Our priority here at one river is ensuring that you are completely satisfied with any items that you buy from us, and as such we will handle all exchange or refund requests on an individual basis, please contact us with details of your order and we will be more than happy to help.

We are happy to issue refunds or exchanges on items that are shipped back to us within 14 days of receipt, but please note that in order to receive a refund or exchange, the item(s) must be in perfect condition and in the original packaging.

All successfully returned items will be only credited to the account used to originally purchase the item(s), less any taxes or import duties incurred.

With exchanges, your new item(s) will be shipped to you as soon as we have them in stock and we have received the item(s) you are returning and any additional payment which may required.

We cannot be held responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit when being returned to us therefore we recommend you return your item(s) using special or recorded delivery. Your statutory rights are not affected by these statements.
