About
Aikido is a Japanese Martial Art that emphasises circular movements to redirect an attack. It includes locks, holds and throws. Aikido is used by many Police forces and military organisations as a basis for their unarmed combat training. At the Oxford Brookes Aikido club we believe in teaching our art in a friendly environment and to allow students to develop at their own pace. The club is open to students and non-students. We also run a children's Aikido class.
