Worst Estate Agents - Oystons Preston
Do not use for letting or sale, although the sales side is slightly better. Firstly I was told to take my house of the letting market, they had found the perfect tenants. I took it off but they were not able to move in for 10 wks! Losing out on this money each week. They told the tenants the TV & all electronic items were being left in. They were not and I stated this from the outset. This caused no end of problems as my house was also up for sale with tenants in. I was forced to agreed to leave them in on the basis I would get them back on the date of competion. The tenants would then not let me have my items back & the letting department didnt know what to do about it, so did nothing. I had to go round to the property to get them back and have it out with them. Oystons advised me that the tenants did not want the beds & I therefore paid a company to get rid of them. When the tenants moved in they were furious they had been told they were being left. Oystons rang me to ask me to take the beds back!!! They held me to all sorts as the buyer was only buying as a rental property & wanted the tenants in there. The tenants were only mine for a week as the sale to, a buyer who wanted it as a rental property, was going through. I have been waiting now for over a month for the one weeks rent to be paid to me & each time I speak to them they have another excuse as to why the money hasnt gone in, illness, out of office on surveys... I have been chasing weekly. They were looking to charge me over £300 for getting the tenant in, who I advised in the end I wanted them not to move in until I had sold the property as I had waited long enough another week wouldnt halm. They then wanted a further £2160 fees for selling the house! Would never use again which is a shame as I currently have a property to let. The buyer who also rents their properties through them is having serious considerations about staying with them.

Terrible
This is the most unprofessional and inept company that we have ever had the misfortune to have dealings with. From start to finish a bad experience, couldn't care less attitude, the few people who actually managed to get an appointment to view our home also felt the same as us. Want to sell your home? Use some one else.

The worst estate agents in the country?
This is the most unprofessional and inept company that we have ever had the misfortune to have dealings with. From start to finish a bad experience, couldn't care less attitude, the few people who actually managed to get an appointment to view our home also felt the same as us. Want to sell your home? Use some one else.
