WARNING - DO NOT USE
Please be extremely wary of this "builder." Having employed Mr Aldred on a few occasions a few years ago and having been happy with his work we employed him to build a small brick out building in our back garden. This was a BIG MISTAKE. Mr Aldred didn't work reliably or efficiently (working very slowly; LOTS of short days, regularly stopping at lunchtime; the purchasing of materials was totally illogical and looking back with hindsight lots of lies...) The quality of his work has seriously diminished. In addition he wanted us to pay the full amount BEFORE THE PROJECT WAS COMPLETED! When we sensibly refused to do this he walked off the job. (Please note he had already been paid for ALL the materials to complete the work). The following day Mr Aldred and a woman turned up in our back garden demanding his tools with threats of calling the police. The woman was particularly loud and aggressive. We shall NOT be employing this "builder" again
