PMP Building Services, Lincoln.

BEWARE: PMP Building Services Lincoln appears to be a good company as Pawel sets a convincing and trustworthy tone; our experience was unfortunately different. Required to rewire a bungalow, replace internal doors/frames/skirting boards/skim the walls/redecorate/tile/fit new bath and kitchen. He did this, but tiling, carpentry and painting was very poor. Doors painted whilst shut leaving seam lines & unpainted areas; poorly cut, uneven and not level tiles; extensive use of silicon sealant to hide mistakes which then made painting impossible unless the sealant is removed. He didn't complete snagging satisfactorily and used silicon sealant to bridge 1" gap between skirting board and door frame which existed because he cut the board too short but fitted it anyway. We were pressed for agreed phased payments in advance and we acted in good faith as he ‘appeared' sincere in his commitment to the job, with hindsight this was all a front. His wife, who does the accounts sent us rude and demanding emails despite us having met requests for early payments in good faith. He agreed, to redo the worst tiling issues in the bathroom, but we have been totally ignored for 2 months. As I said, beware the friendly persona. His workmanship is amateur at best and whilst he claims to employ trades we believe he does it all himself, having witnessed him painting and tiling, with the help of an unqualified labourer. Whilst PMP has a 100% satisfaction rating on MyBuilder we Googled 'PMP Building Services reviews' which showed others different experiences with photo evidence. Not a great period for us, stressful and an expensive lesson in trust management. Your choice but I would not go there again....
