Avoid this driving school at all cost, i came across the RUDEST, SEXIST, most arrogant driving instructor in Southampton last week. He was pulled up on double yellow lines on an immediate right hand corner in the town centre. As I was driving a 3.5T van and needed all the width of the narrow one way street to turn the corner. With my vehicle being so long, it is imperative to take the corner wide to avoid the back of the van mounting the kerb. One would have thought that a driving instructor of all people would have understood this but when I politely asked him to move forward so I could avoid scraping the back of his car, the Pam's Driving school male instructor began shouting all sorts of obscenities out of his window and shouting "you're a woman driver so you wouldn't have any idea of space anyway"!!!!! I was absolutely gobsmacked at his appalling attitude, particularly as he had a pupil in the car with him!!! What sort of person takes this attitude to women, the person you would least expect it from is a driving instructor. Furthermore, what an example to set to thelpoor pupil! It seems that Pam's driving school do not accept female pupils and if they do they have little belief in you, If any at all. After all, women drivers have no sense of space!!!!!! I immediately contacted Pam's driving school and spoke to the owner of school. I received an apology on the instructors behalf and said that he must be having a bad day. Unfortunately this was the most insincere apology as it was interrupted by constant laughter. Pam's driving school clearly found the attitude of their instructor very amusing. AVOID!!!!!!!!!!
