Dont let the Panda become extinct

Being a big fan of Chinese cuisine, I have visited many Chinese restaurants accross Nottingham. To name a few, Mr Mans, Nosh in Arnold (now called Feast), Cheungs of Mapperley, Flaming Dragon, Opium and Springwater (Calverton). All are very nice, some with amazing decor or great food on a budget. But Panda is the No1. Its decor may not be as beautiful as Mr Mans or Flaming Dragon for example, but it is still traditional Chinese and its clean. The service is very helpful, swift and friendly and they dont rush you. The food is the best Chinese food in Nottingham! Priced very well - I usually have the 'All you can eat menu' and they do not tell you to have one dish at a time like some others. None of the dishes are too big either, so you can still enjoy different dishes. The best in my opinion is the salt & pepper/chili ribs. Sadly there is more & more competition for Panda with newer decor and I fear they may reduce Panda's custom. But take my word for it - if you care more about Top Food and Top service in a clean intimate environment rather than a marbel floored self service Canteen then go for Panda! I give it 5 stars!
