Paul has been a funeral director since 1981 when he was just 19 years old, working for three different funeral homes in Cornwall before setting up his own business in 1995.

Paul and his wife Sally set up their independent family funeral directors in 1995 on Chapel Road in Foxhole and ten years later moved into purpose built premises in Ann’s Crescent, Foxhole. In June 2011, their eldest daughter, Stacey Lambert, joined the business.

In October 2013, Paul, Sally and Stacey were proud to announce the opening of their second premises in Truro Road, St Austell; an ambition of Paul’s since he started his own business, and now have the two premises for people to visit them and their loved ones.

Both the Foxhole and St Austell premises have a reception area, Chapel Of Rest and an office to discuss matters in private.

Paul, Sally and Stacey are supported by several members of experienced staff who are committed to offering a personal and professional 24 hour service. They will put your mind at rest and arrange everything for you in a caring and discreet manner, giving you peace of mind at a distressing time.

On 14th March 2014, our new website (www.paulbourtonfunerals.co.uk) was launched, providing information on Paul Bourton Funeral Service as a business, about the family, their involvement in the local community and a memorial area for loved ones to be remembered.

We are very excited to have become one of Cornwall’s trusted people at Once I’ve Gone.

Once I’ve Gone has been designed to help people plan, organise and store all those personal things that your loved ones will need when you’re gone, whilst also creating a legacy for family and friends.
