Introduction

My approach is simple, whether you're a wedding client or a portrait sitter....

I work with you to get you relaxed, whilst figuring the angles, then I photograph.
Actually, I'll already have been shooting, but you probably won't have noticed. I pride myself on getting natural, spontaneous, fun images- the kind of images you'd love to get for yourself, but can't!
I work in two distinct, but complimentary styles: Documentary and Portrait.

Wedding photography

Choose from 6 hours upwards for me to record your Day in a documentary style, be it a traditional English Church Wedding, or a intimate ceremony in a beautiful venue, or a magnificent ceremony that spreads across several days and weekends. We will plan to take some posed images at a convenient time during the day, too.

we will even include a complimentary pre-wedding photo shoot to get you ready for looking your best on your big day and will create a signing book from the images edited from that day.

Portrait photography

For me, the term 'portrait' covers many types of photography and simply means there will be an element of posing or direction.
A typical portrait shoot can last up to a couple of hours, but I'm not strict on that- we work until we're all happy with the results. I book no more than three sessions in one day, so there's no rush. See the special 'portrait tab on the drop down menu on my pauldale.info website for more information on the different types of portrait session.

Boudoir photography

Boudoir portraiture needs a different approach. We recommend you book for three separate sessions of up to 2 hours each- the first is sometimes longer- and each time, I work with you to build up your comfort and confidence, until you're totally at ease with the process.
The result will be a series of portraits that we can then bind into a beautiful and personal book of images to keep for yourself or share with loved ones.

STUNNING PHOTOGRAPHY!

Value

Paul did a shoot for my clothing range for my website, with an all girl band, he was friendly, organised, good at communicating with the models and good at making arrangements with myself beforehand, there's nothing more frustrating than waiting a long time for a response. I also recently did a shoot myself, with Paul, a portrait style shoot, felt totally at ease, having been given great direction from Paul, a lot of the time I didn't even realise he was taking photos, very natural, and after taking a look at the finished images, made me feel glamorous and would definitely recommend it to anyone! And after the shoot, Paul delivered the edited images very quickly! What more can I say?! Positive comments all the way. "

Testimonials

"Paul has consistently put me at ease when I have worked alongside him to produce a set of personalised images. Paul is highly professional, yet down-to-earth and approachable. He always values the ideas I have about the images and makes me feel comfortable whilst 'posing' in front of the camera because he is so easy to talk to, which makes the process feel natural. I have been amazed by the photos produced from our sessions together and have felt proud to be able to share them with others. I'd thoroughly recommend Paul to others because not only is he a really nice man but I can honestly say he is a charismatic artist and a true inspiration to work with."

Nicola U. - Boudoir Portrait shoot

"Paul is an amazing photographer! He manages to capture the essence of a person, finding one's inner beauty in the process! When I had my session with him he made me feel very much at ease immediately and I felt relaxed around him. He managed to change the way I look at myself through his photography and because of that I feel so much more beautiful, sexy and confident than I did before! What a brilliant experience - I can only recommend him and his fab skills to everybody!"
