Poor quality
Job was to rebuild some stone walls and lay new paving. Walls were rebuilt but had to ask for one to be re-completed as it dropped in height. Initial paving laid but not satisfactory. End result job abandoned by contractor as we were giving him too much aggro!!. Time attending erratic. Existing lawn destroyed - now needs re-turfing.

Avoid
Employed Paul Oldbury Landscapes to makeover the Rear Garden. Was polite courteous. However when the pointing started to disintegrate all I was given was poor excuses regarding the weather when it was clearly a poor mix. After many phone calls and messages Paul eventually cam out to take a look and redid some (not all as promised) the failed pointing. The work was a completely different colour and was told this would have to do if I wanted it to stay in place! poor customer service and attention to detail. Avoid at all costs!

bad job done
This time last year we employed Paul Oldbury Landscapes to turn our back garden ,from what was a mess, into a usable space. Nothing fancy, just Indian pavers and a new fence. £4000 lighter in the wallet I was so happy when it was finished. Finally a nice place to sit out, hang the washing out and invite people round to socialise. After a few months we noticed that the pointing In-between the pavers was starting to crack and crumble. When we contacted Paul Oldbury landscapes about this issue he told us it was due to the frost. "What frost we bearly had a winter this time!" When asked if he was going to come and sort it out we got told; well I'm busy I'll have to see when I can fit it in. When he eventually did turn up he did correct some areas, which now stick out like a sore thumb. If anyone is thinking of using this person to do any work on their property I would advise you to think twice to avoid disappointment. Paul Oldbury landscapes after care is practically none existent.
