We cover the (floors of) Greater Manchester and Cheshire. You can speak to Paul or Claire directly if you give us a call on 0161 747 8541.

Our showroom is located just outside Urmston Town Centre at 414 Flixton Road, Flixton, M41 6QY - 5 minutes from junctions 8, 9 or 10 of the M60 and The Trafford Centre. We're open 5 days a week;

Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri - 9:30am - 5:00pm, Sat - 10am - 4pm

Services

We supply and fit: carpets (Ulster, Telenzo, Kersaint Cobb, Cormar, Kingsmead, Axminster, Westex, Louis de Poortere), vinyls (including luxury vinyl tile design flooring such as Camaro, Karndean and Harvey Maria), solid and engineered wood or laminate floors. All of our floor fittings are overseen by Paul himself, (he has 23 years experience in fitting floor coverings).

Equally, we know that you may have a tried and trusted carpet fitter, joiner, floor layer that you've always used and aren't prepared to swap from. Fair enough - we're more than happy for you to come in to us, browse our samples and order your flooring for your own fitter to install (we're not precious!). Call in and see us, we make a lovely cup of coffee!

Luxury Vinyl Tile Flooring

LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) Wood Planks – Design Flooring has a wood look to suit everyone in a vast range of colours, styles and textures. The planks can be laid in a variety of patterns from simple and straight to a more intricate pattern with borders and even a herringbone parquet.By taking your time, and adding some intelligent thought* on the look you're trying to achieve, you can narrow down the vast range of colours styles and textures to the perfect combination that compliments your room.

Maybe you really like the Scandinavian Beach House look – we fitted Colonia Nordic White Oak in a kitchen in Old Trafford, now all he needs to do, is cook some Swedish meatballs from that famous furniture store with the one way system and he's transported to Stokholm in the blink of an eye.

We also did a lovely job for a guy in Didsbury who wanted a nice classy entrance hall for his apartment. We fitted Karndean Blond Oak and not only did it make the hall light and airy, it was also guaranteed for up to 20 years.

Same with a period home in Sale – We fitted Spring Oak throughout and not only was it beautiful, but was guaranteed for 20 years against dog drool, cat paws (probably not claws), hamster droppings, sock-sliding children and, occasionally, drunken, slightly unsteady grownups. Of course, the full legal complexities of the Karndean guarantee are available on request.

*Oh, and 20 years of experience helps too!

Luxury Vinyl Tile Flooring - Stone, Tile & Colours

The wonder of Luxury Vinyl Tile Flooring strikes again. There are more of these designs to choose from than you could ever imagine, with possibly every stone look in the whole wide world available! Design Flooring is the future! These floors get to the ambient temperature of the room so no more freezing cold feet that we all fear from a real stone floor. We sell vinyl floors from reputable manufacturers such as Polyflor, Karndean, Harvey Maria, Earthwerks (that's spelt correctly for all of you laughing), Luvanto and more besides.......

Want a border? Don't want a border? Want design strips and a border? Want a straight, simple tile with no features? Maybe its a dolphin design feature for your bathroom you're after? Pebbles? Pebbles with a dolphin??

No problem at all. All these looks are possible with Luxury Vinyl Tile Flooring. Two of our favourite fits have been the Karndean Art Select Limestone (OK, we're biased – we've got it throughout most of the downstairs of our house!) and the Atlantic Slate which we fitted around an open plan staircase – though we say so ourselves – it looked stunning!

Solid colours are available from Harvey Maria for that classic black and white chequerboard look, also available in Tangerine Orange & Raspberry Pink for that not so classic chequerboard look – each to their own.

Solid and Engineered Wood Flooring

Solid and Engineered Wood flooring – even the name gives you confidence doesn't it? These are definitely one of the old favourites, and always very popular amongst our clients.

Laminate Flooring

Laminate floor. We've come a long way from the 1980's haven't we? Nowadays, laminate floor is as beautiful as solid wood flooring, but usually more cost effective, allowing you to make your budget stretch further.

So many different looks are available these days: Wide planks, small planks, modern (like the EnhancedCherry), traditional (like the OiledWalnut) – there really is something for everyone.

And with the modern fitting techniques, it is guaranteed to go down and stay down.

We mostly fit the Quick Step products because its UniClick system makes for an immensely strong join, and its patented scratch-guard technology means it is up to 10 times more scratch resistant than other brands.

However, clients usually choose Quick Step because it has a 25 year guarantee as standard, and from the economic ‘Creo' and ‘Classic' ranges to the bevelled edge beauty of the ‘Perspective' range, they all look flippin' fantastic (when fitted correctly by an expert of course).

Vinyl Flooring

The ever versatile vinyl flooring that can be used in every room of the house.

Traditionally this has been most popular in kitchens and bathrooms because of its amazing ability to withstand spills and drips, but recently, we've seen an upsurge in this flooring being used in living rooms and bedrooms by savvy householders wanting to make cleaning easier.

And to be fair, vinyl looks amazing when done right – you can make beautiful patterns with the tiles, or use fancy rotogravure techniques to engrave images such as wood grain, marble and even tile to give it a natural appearance. If you want none of that fancy stuff, just a solid colour – take a look at the fantastic Colour Flooring Company or the wonderful designs of Harvey Maria

We have found this works particularly well in children's bedrooms – we've got a range of vinyls designed specifically for children that includes butterflies and hearts, jigsaws or even a full road design! (It also stands up to most things being spilt on it!)

Natural Floor Coverings - Sisal, Seagrass Etc

OK, so you want to really impress your friends? You need some natural floor coverings in your life.

Recent years have seen a massive upsurge in the use of natural flooring such as seagrass and sisal in the domestic market.
If you think you recognise the name from somewhere, its highly likely you've been reading trendy design magazines or watching designers on telly as it is in every good designer's portfolio.
It's a popular look, and it's very hard wearing. If fitted correctly, once down, it will last a long time. Beware though, specialist underlays and fitting techniques are essential. Seagrass tends to be the more hard wearing of the two, but both look great and add an amazing texture to the right room.
