Bought a BMW Compact from here. Was my first one and I loved it, for a week. It went back to Oak Street Cars as it had the following faults. On cold starts the engine juddered, choked and lost power, the hand break was dangerous, fog light was out, front washer didn't work properly, rear washer didn't work at all and rear number plate light was out and was held into place with sellotape. Oak Street had the car for 3 weeks. After taking it to 2 mechanics, whom they reluctantly told me were, they finally took it to BMW for a diagnostic. The result was a £2500 repair. Oak Street called (this was the only time they called, all other calls were done by me chasing them) and said they wouldn't repair it and thus would give me my money back. This was minus £180 it cost them to apparently replace the clutch in the trade-in car I gave them. Apparently the clutch died the day after I traded it in with them. Also they appear to have some deal with Norwich Motor Group as the car passed the MOT despite the issues mentioned above. These were apparent as soon as I drove it away. It had the MOT the day before. ***FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, AVOID OAK STREET CARS*** You will get shafted. They will tell you everything you want to hear upon first enquiry/viewing/test drive. Don't believe it and run a mile.
