Paul Skidmore Therapies - Sports & remedial, Swedish, Aromatherapy & Indian head massage therapies.
Paul's clinics run from four locations in Oxfordshire. We offer treatments for Sports and work injuries,
Postural related pain, RSI, Back & neck pain, muscular strains and joint sprains, headaches & migraine,
Alongside treatments for stress related disorders including deep relaxation therapy.
Our approach is 'holistic'; we look at the person a whole, as our aim is to identify and to help resolve the problem by 'treating the cause and not just the symptoms'.
We are nationally recognised as disability specialists, working specifically within the field of brittle bones (OI) plus other bone related & musculoskeletal conditions.
All our treatments are adapted to the individual and their specific needs. We use a variety of massage techniques along with Soft tissue release & Neuromuscular therapy to reduce and release chronic muscle tension, stimulate better function of weaken muscles whilst working to create improved joint mobility, movement & posture.
Our clinic's also gives support to assist parent / carers as we recognise from our own personal experience the stresses and strains associated with this profession.
Our aim is to provide the right therapy to assist our clients achieve and maintain optimum health whilst also assisting recovery from acute injuries by the use of soft tissue massage techniques alongside rehabilitation and functional exercise.

Fully qualified & insured for professional sports

Paul Skidmore is a professional member of the Institute of Sports & Remedial massage (requirement for working in professional sport) and the Complimentary Therapist Association.
Paul is also on the national NHS register of complimentary practitioners and therefore can take referrals directly from GPs.
ISRM practitioners are required to study each year to continue with professional development (CPD) order to stay current with changing techniques, procedures, processes whilst expanding experience and knowledge base.
