PDC Building Maintenance is the trading name of Phil Dray.
I have been working in Building Maintenance since I left school in 1976, when I joined the family firm H.D. Dray and Sons Ltd.
The company was started by my Great Grandfather, Mr Harold DeWarren Dray in 1911, originally based in Whitley Wood, Reading. It then moved to Whitley Street and then down the road to Mount Pleasant where my Grandfather, Mr W.E. Dray (known to many as 'Erne' or 'Wally') kept it going through the 2nd World War, despite many restrictions and difficulties. For many years it was one of the oldest family building companies in Reading, outlasting many of its contemporaries.
