We appreciate how difficult it is to cope with emotions when in a time of need. We are committed to providing a caring and courteous service that is approachable and responsive to your every requirement and concern.

By listening to you we will respectfully guide you, ensuring that the final act of saying goodbye is arranged in the way that reflects you and your loved one.

Arrangements can be made in the comfort of your own home or at our premises in Groundwell Road or our chapel of rest in Ermin Street, Stratton St Margaret.

In 2011 our funeral service was included in The Good Funeral Guide, an independent consumer guide for the funeral industry. In 2013 The Good Funeral Guide revisited us, following that visit they confirmed our continuation of being included in the guide. This was after a full assessment of our services to ensure the families in our care that our high level of service continues. Charles Cowling, author of the guide, says "We only recommend those funeral directors who meet the most stringent criteria. As a family business we understand how every funeral is personal and every family we serve must be treated as individuals. At every stage of our service, to you, we will listen and can respectfully guide and advise you. Our philosophy is that a funeral should be carried out exactly according to your wishes, and all of our efforts are focused towards ensuring that every detail is correct and professionally provided with care.


You are welcome to come to our Chapel of Rest to discuss funeral arrangements
We are happy to discuss the arrangements with you in the comfort of your own home or, if you prefer, you are welcome to come to our arrangement room at our premises in Ermin Street. We can help with arrangements for differing religions and ceremonies, non-religious funerals and environmentally friendly options. We will also be able to help you with press notices in both local and national newspapers, floral tributes, service stationary, catering, administering and distributing of donations, monumental masonry, pre-payment funerals and offer help with any other concerns you may have.

You are most welcome to visit our offices and chapel in Ermin Street at any time between 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. You can also discuss arrangements, or use our viewing facilities, by appointment, outside of these times. You are able to telephone us 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
