About Us

Pets 'N' Vets was started on the 1st May 1971 by George Leslie and one part-time receptionist. It was run as a single-handed veterinary practice in 1478 Pollokshaws Rd. with support from different locums and assistants. In 1978 the area of the surgery was doubled by taking over the adjacent shop at 1480 Pollokshaws Rd.

Pets 'N' Vets - Glasgow veterinary centres contain the very latest modern surgical facilities and are fully computerised.

Pets 'N' Vets offers a free introductory consultation for every new pet brought to the practice. Charges will be made for medication or vaccines, but the first check up and registration is very important and should take place within 2-3 days of acquiring your new pet.

Pet Passports have been around for about 10 years now, after long term campaining to relax the controls over pet movements in and out of the UK.
