I offer supportive, confidential and non-judgmental counselling designed to enable you to enhance your life and to live it more fully. It deepens your understanding of why you feel the way you do and helps you discover what you really need in life.
You may find that a few sessions can help you to address a specific problem, or you may choose to work on a longer-term basis in order to focus on deeper issues. You are unique and I will work with you to find out which approaches will work best for you; drawn from my extensive training and practice.
Before qualifying as a Counsellor, I spent over 20 years providing HR support, training and executive coaching for a number of City firms. I'm therefore very aware of the challenges and pressures of modern corporate life, and now specialise in working with people affected by The City.
The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) provides some great resources for people thinking about seeing a Counsellor, on their "it's good to talk" website.
The site includes fact sheets covering issues such as:
What do counsellors and psychotherapists do?
How do I choose a therapist?
What happens in your first session with your therapist?
How to get the best out of your therapist.

People often find that talking to someone in total confidence can hekp them during difficult times. Family and friends can sometimes help, but there are situations when discussing your problems with someone impartial is particularly beneficical. This is one reason why counselling works - and that's why I'm here.
