About Pledge

Our mission is to end poverty for those people who are experiencing homelessness and unemployment. We help with things such as a deposit for a house when a person has moved on from rough sleeping or a hostel. Other ways we help to relieve their poverty will be for clothes for an interview or a bus pass to attend the interview, for example, this will help them gain employment and therefore reduce the effects of them living in poverty.

We fundamentally believe that all of us have the right to live a long and fulfilling life. Regardless of personal circumstances, we all require basic things to live, such as a roof over our head, and food on the table. Ending poverty is not an easy challenge, and it requires us all to pull together to make our own personal impact. That could be something small such as volunteering, or something even bigger such as donating directly to Pledge.
