We bought a car from Portland Carriage Company for £2850 in November, in March we find out the clutch is on its last legs. they are refusing to help, ignoring all letters and emails. I have now been in touch with trading Standards who tell me i am well within my rights to get the repairs paid for by them. Still waiting on them to reply!!! UPDATE - i have since threatened to take Portland Carriage Company to court and they back down and we agreed for them to pay half of the costs of repair for the clutch. So that was fine. Until the gearbox went and they will not reply again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS PORTLAND CARRIAGE COMPANY HOVE DO NOT BUY FROM Portland Carriage Company Hove
