Built in 1973, Portman Lodge is the main wing and entrance into a large Victorian property, originally part of Lord Portman's estate. It is though to have been a residence for choristers for St Martin's church. many of the original fixtures and fittings remain, in particular the attractive tiled floor in the entrance hall. All bedrooms and bathrooms are well decorated and comfortably furnished. Breakfast utilises, locally sourced, quality ingredients and is served at a communal table
