Pot-Pourri Home Cleaning is a family business established in 1988 to provide professional domestic house cleaning and Ironing services to the residents of the Altrincham, South Manchester and surrounding areas.

We provide our service on a Regular, Temporary or One-Off (spring-cleaning) basis:

We employ only specially selected staff that have been checked to be honest and trustworthy. All are employed on PAYE and are fully trained and assessed and supervised on a regular basis.

Our Services

We customise the cleaning service to suit your needs. For example regular cleans can include:

Regular Cleans
All rooms

Clean, dust, vacuum. Dust windowsills and ledges.
Dust doors and blinds.
Dust pictures, ornaments and mirrors.
Remove cobwebs.
Dust lamps, furniture, woodwork, shelves and skirting boards.
Vacuum carpets or wash tile floor.
Vacuum furniture, including under seat cushions.
Empty and clean ashtrays and waste baskets.
Change bedding.
Clean inside windows and glass. (usually alternated each visit).
Kitchens

Clean appliances, worktops, cabinets, tables and chairs.
Clean scrub and sanitise sinks.
Clean and sanitise counter tops and backsplashes.
Clean oven ranges.
Clean tops of refrigerators and appliances.
Clean inside and outside of microwave ovens.
Wash floors (and wax if requested).
Bathrooms

Clean, sanitise and deodorise.
Clean, scrub and sanitise showers and baths.
Clean and sanitise vsanities, sinks and backsplashes.
Clean mirrors.
Clean and sanitise toilets.
Polish chrome.
Wash floor and tile walls.
Plus we designate certain rooms for special attention on each visit. That means we take care of all those little extras so you dont have to worry about tackling an in depth spring or Autumn project ever again.

One off spring clean
A one off spring clean can be for when you are moving in or out of a property or after a building project. The spring clean offers everything from a regular clean and also the following:

Cleaning out cupboards, wardrobes and wiping down the woodwork.
Changing curtains.
Cleaning brass and silver.
Washing walls.
De-frosting freezer.
Temporary Help
We offer temporary help and can combine any of the service above to satisfy your requirements. The tasks can vary from visit to visit, there is complete flexibility to meet your changing needs. There is no contract, so you can employ us for as long or as little as you need.

Builders Clean
We offer services to properties once the building work has been completed, no job is too big or too small.
