Value, well it's £6.00 per lesson which last for 2hrs, that's £3.00 an hr. For anyone who has done any martial arts you know this is cheap most instructors charge £5 per hr. plus none of this direct debit nonsense, you pay as you play, which for people like me who work shifts and nights is excellent as I can't always be there through no fault of my own so why should I lose out because I have to work. Pardon you have to work tomorrow well that's when I'm available to fix your boiler so ill just charge you anyway, some instructors need to wake up and smell the coffee, thankfully Sifu Paul only drinks tea on this issue. Service, well this is mainly a beginners school although that doesn't stop Sifu Paul from accommodating people like me with years of experience, you've just got to learn to empty your cup. Sifu Paul doesn't tell you you've been doing it wrong, he shows you, all be it in the nicest way. Some people learn fast some people learn slow, but the class is well mixed and you will take something from every lesson if you listen close enough. Quality, even before I joined this school I knew Sifu Paul from another Wing Chun school and even there he was known for being the best at talking hands with people. He has studied lineages such as Leung ting, Sam kwok and Augustine Fong as well as some other styles of martial art, I too have studied several styles (9 of the top of my head) and he is in my top 3 instructors for understanding and being able to apply what he says. Overall, I stopped practising Wing Chun for 8 years when I moved to Leeds after being unable to find a decent school. I took up boxing, karate, kickboxing and some other styles of Kung fu, I dropped all of these after discovering Sifu Paul had opened his own school. After spending years of time and money I walked away from it all to start as a beginner in his school, I think that should tell anyone with any sense what I think overall.
