THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! I’ll try be as quick as possible. My grandad has been having problems with rashes on his legs and the doctors here keep giving him creams. OK, I understand that, it’s a skin condition so cream might be able to help. Why then, when he has to come in for an important for a swollen finger have these people given him more cream (this time there is no rash, just a heavily swollen finger that looks like a hammer has had fun with him)? I’m pretty sure a swollen finger has nothing to do with the externals of the body and is more of an internal issue that needs to be addressed. The doctor also said to him, ‘I don’t know what the problem, try this cream’…..really?? Anyway, the real reason I’m writing this review. March 15th my grandma went for a blood sugar blood test. March 18th we receive a text message saying the her blood sugar level has gone down since her last check-up which is good (obviously) and that she does not have diabetes. Well done grandma. March 27th I received a phone call that I didn’t manage to pick up so there was a voicemail saying ‘your blood sugar level is slightly rising which is a concern’. If you keep doing what you’re doing and maintain through diet, you will be ok’. OK, so one week before she’s doing good and its going down and a week later its going back up? How does that work that, oh and I should mention, she didn’t not go for a another blood test after the 15th. So the same blood test is showing two different results????? So we decide to phone the GP yesterday and the receptionist tells us ‘yes, she has diabetes’. How do you go from one week, not having diabetes, to the following week, your blood sugar is rising and oooops, you have diabetes? We have three different people saying three different things……what is the actual result??? Is she diabetic or not??? I really am beyond words with this place. I was a previous patient here and I am so glad I left this place after two appointments! I would seriously avoid this GP. I had issues as a patient, both my grandparents have issues as patients here. My mum had issues before she passed away with this GP. I don’t leave a lot of negative reviews as I believe that negative reviews are the ones that most likely to be posted, and you can have a look at my reviews, a lot of them are positive BUT this place does not deserve a good review. I find this place an absolute joke and I do not recommend this GP at all. I wrote a review over a year ago regarding this GP about my personal issue with them. Long story short, I suffer from knee pain and went in and the doctor I saw told me ‘stop playing tennis’. NO! Help me! You don’t tell a 31 year old to stop playing tennis when it’s their only sport they play. You are meant to diagnose and help your patients. Ending up having a ganglion cyst in my knee. Thank fully I left this place and got the treatment I needed. Please please please reconsider or seriously think about being a patient at this place.
