We are a local, family run and independent garage, serving Ipswich and the surrounding area.

We aim to provide you with a one stop solution to your car, van, motorhome and trailer servicing and repair needs (all makes of cars, vans and motorhomes up to 3.5t including all types of trailers). Be it a routine service or an emergency repair following a breakdown you can trust us to provide the very best service at a competitive price. Free loan cars can be provided (subject to availability). We welcome fleets of all sizes and lease vehicles.We are members of the 1link network.

Working from a brand new facility and utilising the latest state of the art equipment from Tecalemit and Snap On diagnostics we aim to get you back on the road as soon as possible.

MOT testing

We are able to MOT most vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes including long wheel base and high roof vehicles. Using the latest Tecalemit ATL MOT testing lane, we can accomodate a large range to vehicles from a smart car to some of the largest motorhomes and vans. This incudes Petrol, Diesel, LPG and Hybrid / Electric vehicles.

We are authorised to test the following vehicles

Class 4: Cars, Vans (up to 3000kg), Taxis, Motorhomes, Motor Caravans, Dual purpose vehicles, Private minibuses & Ambulances
9 - 12 passenger seats, Private hire and Pubilic Service Vehicles up to 8 seats & Quad bikes

Class 7: Goods vehicles between 3000kg and 3500kg

Is your car still under manufacturers warranty?


Previously, motorists were required to have their vehicle servicing and repairs at the main dealer so as not to risk invalidating the vehicle's warranty. The EC Block Exemption Regulation 1400/2002 (October 2003) allows motorists more flexibility in selecting where they can get their car serviced.
Thanks to this legislation, maintenance and service work does not have to be done by the main dealer as long as the garage uses Original Equipment 'Matching Quality' parts, and are recorded as such, and the garage follow the manufacturer's service schedules.

We will only use quality parts to original equipment specification (genuine parts will be fitted upon request) Unipart branded parts are certified as Original Equipment Matching Quality. In other words, they're durable and reliable, in addition to being surprisingly-affordable. And, crucially, they won't invalidate your warranty when fitted.

Consumer protection

We are fully subscribed to Motor Industry Code of Practice and the Trust my Garage scheme from the RMI. These schemes full vet our garage on a regualr basis ensuring that we fully comply with consumer protection codes of conduct and also provide conciliaiton and arbitiration services should you have cause for complaint that can not be settled directly with us.

Fleets welcome any size local and national. All warranty work considered including work covered by breakdown repair cover schemes from The AA & RAC.

We are easy to find and conveniently located on Cavendish Street, Ipswich at the bottom of Bishops Hill. Just a short walk or bus ride from the waterfront, University Campus Suffolk, Suffolk New College and the town centre.

We have a comfortable waiting area / customer reception, seating for 6 people, MOT viewing screen / TV showing BBC news, workshop viewing area, complimentery tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and chilled water. Fully accessable toilet facilities.
