We are one of the only phlebotomy trainers with a course that is accredited by a nationally recognised awarding body. This means you, and any future employers, can be sure of the quality of the teaching and the assessment.
You will have to work for your award, you will not simply receive a certificate for showing up. But in this way the course is so much more rewarding and valuable, with a real sense of achievement, and you and your employers can have confidence in the skills you have learnt.
Also, because the course is accredited, it can be used as evidence of prior learning if you choose to study towards a Care or Health based qualification (for example, a Health Care Assistant studying towards an NVQ in Care). This means that you will never have to redo these elements as part of another course.
As part of being an accredited training centre, all of our assessors must be top notch and appropriately qualified.
All of our assessors are experienced phlebotomists as well as qualified trainers. All have received specialised assessor training, enabling them to assess these phlebotomy awards. Most also have the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) (previously known as PTTLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector)).
All of our assessors are overseen by the Lead Internal Quality Assurer, who in turn is overseen by the External Quality Assurer, from the NCFE.
We deliver training sessions in venues throughout the UK, so you'll be sure to find one that is easy for you to access.
And most of our courses are held during the weekend, so you don't have to take time off work, or worry about who might pick your children up from school, while you attend.
Through our natural links with the phlebotomy industry throughout the UK, we are able to offer opportunities for new phlebotomists, struggling to get experience, to take part in valuable Live Experience Sessions.
We can even point you in the right direction for your first phlebotomy role.
Our office is manned throughout the day with a team of knowledgeable support staff ready to answer your questions. No answer phones, and no automated call centres, just real people.
Our commitment to you doesn't end when your course ends, or even when you receive your certificate. You will have access to your assessor at all times, and we will continue to keep you updated on any changes in best practice or legislation.
