Powerflushing:

The build up of "sludge" in your heating system occurs due to a reaction between the two different metal types (copper and steel) in the system and the presence of oxygen in the water. Sludge build up can prevent your system from circulating properly therefore stopping your radiators from reaching their maximum operating temperature. In severe cases, this can cause internal damage to your gas boiler and corrode radiators. Powerflushing is a method of removing the sludge from your system; by connecting a high pressure flushing machine to your system and with the use of an industry approved central heating cleanser, we are able to remove sludge build ups that prevent your system from circulating correctly. This will extend the life of your system and prevent damage to your boiler. After Powerflushing a system, an industry approved central heating inhibitor is added to prevent the future build up of sludge and corrosion of radiators.
